Psalms 95
O come, let vs sing vnto the LORD: let vs make a ioyfull noise to the rocke of our saluation.
GenevaCome, let vs reioyce vnto the Lord: let vs sing aloude vnto the rocke of our saluation.
לְ֭כוּ נְרַנְּנָ֣ה לַ/יהוָ֑ה נָ֝רִ֗יעָה לְ/צ֣וּר יִשְׁעֵֽ/נוּ
Let vs come before his presence with thanksgiuing: and make a ioyfull noise vnto him with psalmes.
GenevaLet vs come before his face with praise: let vs sing loude vnto him with Psalmes.
נְקַדְּמָ֣ה פָנָ֣י/ו בְּ/תוֹדָ֑ה בִּ֝/זְמִר֗וֹת נָרִ֥יעַֽ לֽ/וֹ
For the Lord is a great God: and a great king aboue all Gods.
GenevaFor the Lord is a great God, and a great King aboue all gods.
כִּ֤י אֵ֣ל גָּד֣וֹל יְהוָ֑ה וּ/מֶ֥לֶךְ גָּ֝ד֗וֹל עַל כָּל אֱלֹהִֽים
In his hand are the deepe places of the earth: the strength of the hilles is his also.
GenevaIn whose hande are the deepe places of the earth, and the heightes of the mountaines are his:
אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּ֭/יָד/וֹ מֶחְקְרֵי אָ֑רֶץ וְ/תוֹעֲפ֖וֹת הָרִ֣ים לֽ/וֹ
The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
GenevaTo whome the Sea belongeth: for hee made it, and his handes formed the dry land.
אֲשֶׁר ל֣/וֹ הַ֭/יָּם וְ/ה֣וּא עָשָׂ֑/הוּ וְ֝/יַבֶּ֗שֶׁת יָדָ֥י/ו יָצָֽרוּ
O come, let vs worship and bowe downe: let vs kneele before the LORD our maker.
GenevaCome, let vs worship and fall downe, and kneele before the Lord our maker.
בֹּ֭אוּ נִשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֣ה וְ/נִכְרָ֑עָה נִ֝בְרְכָ֗ה לִֽ/פְנֵי יְהוָ֥ה עֹשֵֽׂ/נוּ
For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheepe of his hand: to day if yee will heare his voyce,

כִּ֘י ה֤וּא אֱלֹהֵ֗י/נוּ וַ/אֲנַ֤חְנוּ עַ֣ם מַ֭רְעִית/וֹ וְ/צֹ֣אן יָד֑/וֹ הַ֝/יּ֗וֹם אִֽם בְּ/קֹל֥/וֹ תִשְׁמָֽעוּ
Harden not your heart, as in the prouocation: and as in the day of temptation, in the wildernesse:

אַל תַּקְשׁ֣וּ לְ֭בַבְ/כֶם כִּ/מְרִיבָ֑ה כְּ/י֥וֹם מַ֝סָּ֗ה בַּ/מִּדְבָּֽר
When your fathers tempted me: proued me, and sawe my worke.
GenevaWhere your fathers tempted me, proued me, though they had seene my worke.
אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִ֭סּוּ/נִי אֲבוֹתֵי/כֶ֑ם בְּ֝חָנ֗וּ/נִי גַּם רָא֥וּ פָעֳלִֽ/י
Fortie yeeres long was I grieued with this generation: and sayd, It is a people that doe erre in their heart: and they haue not knowen my wayes.
GenevaFourtie yeeres haue I contended with this generation, and said, They are a people that erre in heart, for they haue not knowen my wayes.
אַרְבָּ֘עִ֤ים שָׁנָ֨ה אָ֘ק֤וּט בְּ/ד֗וֹר וָ/אֹמַ֗ר עַ֤ם תֹּעֵ֣י לֵבָ֣ב הֵ֑ם וְ֝/הֵ֗ם לֹא יָדְע֥וּ דְרָכָֽ/י
Unto whom I sware in my wrath: that they should not enter into my rest.
GenevaWherefore I sware in my wrath, saying, Surely they shall not enter into my rest.
אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתִּי בְ/אַפִּ֑/י אִם יְ֝בֹא֗וּ/ן אֶל מְנוּחָתִֽ/י
