Chapter 32
Exodus 32
And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come downe out of the mount, the people gathered themselues together vnto Aaron, and said vnto him, Up, make vs gods which shall goe before vs: for as for this Moses, the man that brought vs vp out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
GenevaBvt when the people sawe, that Moses taryed long or he came downe from the mountaine, the people gathered themselues together against Aaron, and sayde vnto him, Vp, make vs gods to goe before vs: for of this Moses (the man that brought vs out of the land of Egypt) we knowe not what is become of him.
וַ/יַּ֣רְא הָ/עָ֔ם כִּֽי בֹשֵׁ֥שׁ מֹשֶׁ֖ה לָ/רֶ֣דֶת מִן הָ/הָ֑ר וַ/יִּקָּהֵ֨ל הָ/עָ֜ם עַֽל אַהֲרֹ֗ן וַ/יֹּאמְר֤וּ אֵלָי/ו֙ ק֣וּם עֲשֵׂה לָ֣/נוּ אֱלֹהִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר יֵֽלְכוּ֙ לְ/פָנֵ֔י/נוּ כִּי זֶ֣ה מֹשֶׁ֣ה הָ/אִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הֶֽעֱלָ֨/נוּ֙ מֵ/אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם לֹ֥א יָדַ֖עְנוּ מֶה הָ֥יָה לֽ/וֹ
And Aaron saide vnto them, Breake off the golden earerings which are in the eares of your wiues, of your sonnes, and of your daughters, and bring them vnto me.

וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵ/הֶם֙ אַהֲרֹ֔ן פָּֽרְקוּ֙ נִזְמֵ֣י הַ/זָּהָ֔ב אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּ/אָזְנֵ֣י נְשֵׁי/כֶ֔ם בְּנֵי/כֶ֖ם וּ/בְנֹתֵי/כֶ֑ם וְ/הָבִ֖יאוּ אֵלָֽ/י
And all the people brake off the golden earerings, which were in their eares, and brought them vnto Aaron.
GenevaThen all ye people pluckt from them selues the golden earings, which were in their eares, and they brought them vnto Aaron.
וַ/יִּתְפָּֽרְקוּ֙ כָּל הָ/עָ֔ם אֶת נִזְמֵ֥י הַ/זָּהָ֖ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּ/אָזְנֵי/הֶ֑ם וַ/יָּבִ֖יאוּ אֶֽל אַהֲרֹֽן
And hee receiued them at their hand, and fashioned it with a grauing toole, after hee had made it a molten calfe: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee vp out of the land of Egypt.

וַ/יִּקַּ֣ח מִ/יָּדָ֗/ם וַ/יָּ֤צַר אֹת/וֹ֙ בַּ/חֶ֔רֶט וַֽ/יַּעֲשֵׂ֖/הוּ עֵ֣גֶל מַסֵּכָ֑ה וַ/יֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ אֵ֤לֶּה אֱלֹהֶ֨י/ךָ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶעֱל֖וּ/ךָ מֵ/אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם
And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it, and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD.
GenevaWhen Aaron sawe that, he made an Altar before it: and Aaron proclaimed, saying, To morow shalbe the holy day of the Lord.
וַ/יַּ֣רְא אַהֲרֹ֔ן וַ/יִּ֥בֶן מִזְבֵּ֖חַ לְ/פָנָ֑י/ו וַ/יִּקְרָ֤א אַֽהֲרֹן֙ וַ/יֹּאמַ֔ר חַ֥ג לַ/יהוָ֖ה מָחָֽר
And they rose vp early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings: and the people sate downe to eate and to drinke, and rose vp to play.

וַ/יַּשְׁכִּ֨ימוּ֙ מִֽ/מָּחֳרָ֔ת וַ/יַּעֲל֣וּ עֹלֹ֔ת וַ/יַּגִּ֖שׁוּ שְׁלָמִ֑ים וַ/יֵּ֤שֶׁב הָ/עָם֙ לֶֽ/אֱכֹ֣ל וְ/שָׁת֔וֹ וַ/יָּקֻ֖מוּ לְ/צַחֵֽק
¶ And the LORD said vnto Moses, Goe, get thee downe: for thy people which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, haue corrupted themselues.
GenevaThen the Lord said vnto Moses, Go, get thee downe: for thy people which thou hast brought out of the land of Egypt, hath corrupted their wayes.
וַ/יְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל מֹשֶׁ֑ה לֶךְ רֵ֕ד כִּ֚י שִׁחֵ֣ת עַמְּ/ךָ֔ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶעֱלֵ֖יתָ מֵ/אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם
They haue turned aside quickly out of the way which I commaunded them: they haue made them a molten Calfe, and haue worshipped it, and haue sacrificed thereunto, and saide, These bee thy gods, O Israel, which haue brought thee vp out of the land of Egypt.

סָ֣רוּ מַהֵ֗ר מִן הַ/דֶּ֨רֶךְ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוִּיתִ֔/ם עָשׂ֣וּ לָ/הֶ֔ם עֵ֖גֶל מַסֵּכָ֑ה וַ/יִּשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ ל/וֹ֙ וַ/יִּזְבְּחוּ ל֔/וֹ וַ/יֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ אֵ֤לֶּה אֱלֹהֶ֨י/ךָ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶֽעֱל֖וּ/ךָ מֵ/אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם
And the LORD said vnto Moses, I haue seene this people, and behold, it is a stiffenecked people.
GenevaAgaine the Lord said vnto Moses, I haue seene this people, and beholde, it is a stiffe necked people.
וַ/יֹּ֥אמֶר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל מֹשֶׁ֑ה רָאִ֨יתִי֙ אֶת הָ/עָ֣ם הַ/זֶּ֔ה וְ/הִנֵּ֥ה עַם קְשֵׁה עֹ֖רֶף הֽוּא
Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may waxe hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
GenevaNowe therefore let mee alone, that my wrath may waxe hote against them, for I wil consume the: but I wil make of thee a mighty people.
וְ/עַתָּה֙ הַנִּ֣יחָ/ה לִּ֔/י וְ/יִֽחַר אַפִּ֥/י בָ/הֶ֖ם וַ/אֲכַלֵּ֑/ם וְ/אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֥ה אוֹתְ/ךָ֖ לְ/ג֥וֹי גָּדֽוֹל
And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doeth thy wrath ware hot against thy people, which thou hast brought foorth out of the land of Egypt, with great power, and with a mighty hand?
GenevaBut Moses praied vnto the Lord his God, and said, O Lord, why doeth thy wrath waxe hote against thy people, which thou hast brought out of the lande of Egypt, with great power and with a mightie hand?
וַ/יְחַ֣ל מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶת פְּנֵ֖י יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י/ו וַ/יֹּ֗אמֶר לָ/מָ֤ה יְהוָה֙ יֶחֱרֶ֤ה אַפְּ/ךָ֙ בְּ/עַמֶּ֔/ךָ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הוֹצֵ֨אתָ֙ מֵ/אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם בְּ/כֹ֥חַ גָּד֖וֹל וּ/בְ/יָ֥ד חֲזָקָֽה
Wherefore should the Egyptians speake and say, For mischiefe did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountaines, & to consume them from the face of the earth? Turne from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this euill against thy people.
GenevaWherefore shall the Egyptians speake, and say, He hath brought them out maliciously for to slay them in the mountaines, and to consume them from the earth? turne from thy fearce wrath, and change thy minde from this euill towarde thy people.
לָ/מָּה֩ יֹאמְר֨וּ מִצְרַ֜יִם לֵ/אמֹ֗ר בְּ/רָעָ֤ה הֽוֹצִיאָ/ם֙ לַ/הֲרֹ֤ג אֹתָ/ם֙ בֶּֽ/הָרִ֔ים וּ֨/לְ/כַלֹּתָ֔/ם מֵ/עַ֖ל פְּנֵ֣י הָֽ/אֲדָמָ֑ה שׁ֚וּב מֵ/חֲר֣וֹן אַפֶּ֔/ךָ וְ/הִנָּחֵ֥ם עַל הָ/רָעָ֖ה לְ/עַמֶּֽ/ךָ
Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel thy seruants, to whom thou swarest by thine owne selfe, and saidest vnto them, I will multiply your seed as the starres of heauen: and all this land that I haue spoken of, will I giue vnto your seed, and they shall inherit it for euer.

זְכֹ֡ר לְ/אַבְרָהָם֩ לְ/יִצְחָ֨ק וּ/לְ/יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל עֲבָדֶ֗י/ךָ אֲשֶׁ֨ר נִשְׁבַּ֣עְתָּ לָ/הֶם֮ בָּ/ךְ֒ וַ/תְּדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵ/הֶ֔ם אַרְבֶּה֙ אֶֽת זַרְעֲ/כֶ֔ם כְּ/כוֹכְבֵ֖י הַ/שָּׁמָ֑יִם וְ/כָל הָ/אָ֨רֶץ הַ/זֹּ֜את אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָמַ֗רְתִּי אֶתֵּן֙ לְ/זַרְעֲ/כֶ֔ם וְ/נָחֲל֖וּ לְ/עֹלָֽם
And the LORD repented of the euill which he thought to doe vnto his people.
GenevaThen the Lord changed his minde from the euil, which he threatned to do vnto his people.
וַ/יִּנָּ֖חֶם יְהוָ֑ה עַל הָ֣/רָעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבֶּ֖ר לַ/עֲשׂ֥וֹת לְ/עַמּֽ/וֹ
¶ And Moses turned, and went downe from the Mount, and the two Tables of the Testimony were in his hand: the Tables were written on both their sides; on the one side, and on the other were they written.
GenevaSo Moses returned and went downe from the mountaine with the two Tables of the Testimonie in his hande: the Tables were written on both their sides, euen on the one side and on the other were they written.
וַ/יִּ֜פֶן וַ/יֵּ֤רֶד מֹשֶׁה֙ מִן הָ/הָ֔ר וּ/שְׁנֵ֛י לֻחֹ֥ת הָ/עֵדֻ֖ת בְּ/יָד֑/וֹ לֻחֹ֗ת כְּתֻבִים֙ מִ/שְּׁנֵ֣י עֶבְרֵי/הֶ֔ם מִ/זֶּ֥ה וּ/מִ/זֶּ֖ה הֵ֥ם כְּתֻבִֽים
And the Tables were the worke of God; and the writing was the writing of God, grauen vpon the Tables.
GenevaAnd these Tables were the worke of God, and this writing was the writing of God grauen in the Tables.
וְ/הַ֨/לֻּחֹ֔ת מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים הֵ֑מָּה וְ/הַ/מִּכְתָּ֗ב מִכְתַּ֤ב אֱלֹהִים֙ ה֔וּא חָר֖וּת עַל הַ/לֻּחֹֽת
And when Ioshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, hee said vnto Moses, There is a noise of warre in the campe.
GenevaAnd when Ioshua heard the noyse of the people, as they shouted, he said vnto Moses, There is a noyse of warre in the hoste.
וַ/יִּשְׁמַ֧ע יְהוֹשֻׁ֛עַ אֶת ק֥וֹל הָ/עָ֖ם בְּ/רֵעֹ֑/ה וַ/יֹּ֨אמֶר֙ אֶל מֹשֶׁ֔ה ק֥וֹל מִלְחָמָ֖ה בַּֽ/מַּחֲנֶה
And he said, It is not the voyce of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voyce of them that cry for being ouercome: but the noyse of them that sing doe I heare.
GenevaWho answered, It is not the noyse of them that haue the victorie, nor the noyse of them that are ouercome: but I do heare ye noyse of singing.
וַ/יֹּ֗אמֶר אֵ֥ין קוֹל֙ עֲנ֣וֹת גְּבוּרָ֔ה וְ/אֵ֥ין ק֖וֹל עֲנ֣וֹת חֲלוּשָׁ֑ה ק֣וֹל עַנּ֔וֹת אָנֹכִ֖י שֹׁמֵֽעַ
¶ And it came to passe, assoone as he came nigh vnto the campe, that he saw the Calfe, and the dancing: and Moses anger waxed hot, and he cast the Tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
GenevaNowe, as soone as he came neere vnto the hoste, he sawe the calfe and the dancing: so Moses wrath waxed hote, and he cast the Tables out of his handes, and brake them in pieces beneath the mountaine.
וַֽ/יְהִ֗י כַּ/אֲשֶׁ֤ר קָרַב֙ אֶל הַֽ/מַּחֲנֶ֔ה וַ/יַּ֥רְא אֶת הָ/עֵ֖גֶל וּ/מְחֹלֹ֑ת וַ/יִּֽחַר אַ֣ף מֹשֶׁ֗ה וַ/יַּשְׁלֵ֤ךְ מ/יד/ו אֶת הַ/לֻּחֹ֔ת וַ/יְשַׁבֵּ֥ר אֹתָ֖/ם תַּ֥חַת הָ/הָֽר
And he tooke the Calfe which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it vpon the water, and made the children of Israel drinke of it.

וַ/יִּקַּ֞ח אֶת הָ/עֵ֨גֶל אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשׂוּ֙ וַ/יִּשְׂרֹ֣ף בָּ/אֵ֔שׁ וַ/יִּטְחַ֖ן עַ֣ד אֲשֶׁר דָּ֑ק וַ/יִּ֨זֶר֙ עַל פְּנֵ֣י הַ/מַּ֔יִם וַ/יַּ֖שְׁקְ אֶת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
And Moses said vnto Aaron, What did this people vnto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sinne vpon them?

וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶֽל אַהֲרֹ֔ן מֶֽה עָשָׂ֥ה לְ/ךָ֖ הָ/עָ֣ם הַ/זֶּ֑ה כִּֽי הֵבֵ֥אתָ עָלָ֖י/ו חֲטָאָ֥ה גְדֹלָֽה
And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord waxe hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischiefe.
GenevaThen Aaron answered, Let not the wrath of my Lord waxe fearce: Thou knowest this people, that they are euen set on mischiefe.
וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר אַהֲרֹ֔ן אַל יִ֥חַר אַ֖ף אֲדֹנִ֑/י אַתָּה֙ יָדַ֣עְתָּ אֶת הָ/עָ֔ם כִּ֥י בְ/רָ֖ע הֽוּא
For they said vnto me, Make vs gods which shall goe before vs: for as for this Moses, the man that brought vs vp out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
GenevaAnd they sayde vnto me, Make vs gods to go before vs: for we knowe not what is become of this Moses (the man that brought vs out of the land of Egypt.)
וַ/יֹּ֣אמְרוּ לִ֔/י עֲשֵׂה לָ֣/נוּ אֱלֹהִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֵלְכ֖וּ לְ/פָנֵ֑י/נוּ כִּי זֶ֣ה מֹשֶׁ֣ה הָ/אִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הֶֽעֱלָ֨/נוּ֙ מֵ/אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם לֹ֥א יָדַ֖עְנוּ מֶה הָ֥יָה לֽ/וֹ
And I said vnto them, Whosoeuer hath any gold, let them breake it off: So they gaue it mee: then I cast it into the fire, & there came out this Calfe.
GenevaThen I sayde to them, Ye that haue golde, plucke it off: and they brought it me, and I did cast it into the fire, and thereof came this calfe.
וָ/אֹמַ֤ר לָ/הֶם֙ לְ/מִ֣י זָהָ֔ב הִתְפָּרָ֖קוּ וַ/יִּתְּנוּ לִ֑/י וָ/אַשְׁלִכֵ֣/הוּ בָ/אֵ֔שׁ וַ/יֵּצֵ֖א הָ/עֵ֥גֶל הַ/זֶּֽה
¶ And when Moses saw that the people were naked, (for Aaron had made them naked vnto their shame, amongst their enemies)
GenevaMoses therefore sawe that the people were naked (for Aaron had made them naked vnto their shame among their enemies)
וַ/יַּ֤רְא מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת הָ/עָ֔ם כִּ֥י פָרֻ֖עַ ה֑וּא כִּֽי פְרָעֹ֣/ה אַהֲרֹ֔ן לְ/שִׁמְצָ֖ה בְּ/קָמֵי/הֶֽם
Then Moses stood in the gate of the campe, and saide, Who is on the LORDs side? let him come vnto mee. And all the sonnes of Leui gathered themselues together vnto him.
GenevaAnd Moses stoode in ye gate of the campe, and sayde, Who pertaineth to the Lord? let him come to mee. And all the sonnes of Leui gathered themselues vnto him.
וַ/יַּעֲמֹ֤ד מֹשֶׁה֙ בְּ/שַׁ֣עַר הַֽ/מַּחֲנֶ֔ה וַ/יֹּ֕אמֶר מִ֥י לַ/יהוָ֖ה אֵלָ֑/י וַ/יֵּאָסְפ֥וּ אֵלָ֖י/ו כָּל בְּנֵ֥י לֵוִֽי
And hee said vnto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put euery man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the campe, and slay euery man his brother, and euery man his companion, and euery man his neighbour.
GenevaThen he said vnto them, Thus sayth ye Lord God of Israel, Put euery man his sworde by his side: go to and from, from gate to gate, through the hoste, and slay euery man his brother, and euery man his companion, and euery man his neighbour.
וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר לָ/הֶ֗ם כֹּֽה אָמַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל שִׂ֥ימוּ אִישׁ חַרְבּ֖/וֹ עַל יְרֵכ֑/וֹ עִבְר֨וּ וָ/שׁ֜וּבוּ מִ/שַּׁ֤עַר לָ/שַׁ֨עַר֙ בַּֽ/מַּחֲנֶ֔ה וְ/הִרְג֧וּ אִֽישׁ אֶת אָחִ֛י/ו וְ/אִ֥ישׁ אֶת רֵעֵ֖/הוּ וְ/אִ֥ישׁ אֶת קְרֹבֽ/וֹ
And the children of Leui did according to the word of Moses; and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
GenevaSo the children of Leui did as Moses had commanded: and there fel of the people the same day about three thousand men.
וַ/יַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּ בְנֵֽי לֵוִ֖י כִּ/דְבַ֣ר מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַ/יִּפֹּ֤ל מִן הָ/עָם֙ בַּ/יּ֣וֹם הַ/ה֔וּא כִּ/שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת אַלְפֵ֖י אִֽישׁ
For Moses had said, Consecrate your selues to day to the LORD, euen euery man vpon his sonne, and vpon his brother, that he may bestow vpon you a blessing this day.
Geneva(For Moses had said, Cosecrate your hands vnto the Lord this day, euen euery man vpon his sonne, and vpon his brother, that there may be giuen you a blessing this day)
וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֗ה מִלְא֨וּ יֶדְ/כֶ֤ם הַ/יּוֹם֙ לַֽ/יהוָ֔ה כִּ֛י אִ֥ישׁ בִּ/בְנ֖/וֹ וּ/בְ/אָחִ֑י/ו וְ/לָ/תֵ֧ת עֲלֵי/כֶ֛ם הַ/יּ֖וֹם בְּרָכָֽה
¶ And it came to passe on the morrow, that Moses said vnto the people, Ye haue sinned a great sinne: And now I will goe vp vnto the LORD; peraduenture I shall make an atonement for your sinne.
GenevaAnd when the morning came, Moses sayde vnto the people, Yee haue committed a grieuous crime: but now I wil goe vp to the Lord, if I may pacifie him for your sinne.
וַ/יְהִי֙ מִֽ/מָּחֳרָ֔ת וַ/יֹּ֤אמֶר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל הָ/עָ֔ם אַתֶּ֥ם חֲטָאתֶ֖ם חֲטָאָ֣ה גְדֹלָ֑ה וְ/עַתָּה֙ אֶֽעֱלֶ֣ה אֶל יְהוָ֔ה אוּלַ֥י אֲכַפְּרָ֖ה בְּעַ֥ד חַטַּאתְ/כֶֽם
And Moses returned vnto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people haue sinned a great sinne, and haue made them gods of gold.
GenevaMoses therefore went againe vnto ye Lord, and said, Oh, this people haue sinned a great sinne, and haue made them gods of golde.
וַ/יָּ֧שָׁב מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶל יְהוָ֖ה וַ/יֹּאמַ֑ר אָ֣נָּ֗א חָטָ֞א הָ/עָ֤ם הַ/זֶּה֙ חֲטָאָ֣ה גְדֹלָ֔ה וַ/יַּֽעֲשׂ֥וּ לָ/הֶ֖ם אֱלֹהֵ֥י זָהָֽב
Yet now, if thou wilt forgiue their sinne; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy Booke, which thou hast written.
GenevaTherefore now if thou pardon their sinne, thy mercy shall appeare: but if thou wilt not, I pray thee, rase me out of thy booke, which thou hast written.
וְ/עַתָּ֖ה אִם תִּשָּׂ֣א חַטָּאתָ֑/ם וְ/אִם אַ֕יִן מְחֵ֣/נִי נָ֔א מִֽ/סִּפְרְ/ךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֥ר כָּתָֽבְתָּ
And the LORD said vnto Moses, Whosoeuer hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my Booke.
GenevaThen the Lord sayd to Moses, Whosoeuer hath sinned against me, I will put out of my booke.
וַ/יֹּ֥אמֶר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל מֹשֶׁ֑ה מִ֚י אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָֽטָא לִ֔/י אֶמְחֶ֖/נּוּ מִ/סִּפְרִֽ/י
Therefore now goe, leade the people vnto the place of which I haue spoken vnto thee: Behold, mine Angel shall goe before thee; Neuerthelesse in the day when I visit, I will visit their sinne vpon them.
GenevaGo nowe therefore, bring the people vnto the place which I commanded thee: behold, mine Angel shall goe before thee, but yet in the day of my visitation I wil visite their sinne vpon them.
וְ/עַתָּ֞ה לֵ֣ךְ נְחֵ֣ה אֶת הָ/עָ֗ם אֶ֤ל אֲשֶׁר דִּבַּ֨רְתִּי֙ לָ֔/ךְ הִנֵּ֥ה מַלְאָכִ֖/י יֵלֵ֣ךְ לְ/פָנֶ֑י/ךָ וּ/בְ/י֣וֹם פָּקְדִ֔/י וּ/פָקַדְתִּ֥י עֲלֵי/הֶ֖ם חַטָּאתָֽ/ם
And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the Calfe, which Aaron made.
GenevaSo the Lord plagued the people, because they caused Aaron to make ye calfe which he made.
וַ/יִּגֹּ֥ף יְהוָ֖ה אֶת הָ/עָ֑ם עַ֚ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשׂ֣וּ אֶת הָ/עֵ֔גֶל אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֖ה אַהֲרֹֽן
