Giue eare, shepheard of Israel, thou that leadest Ioseph like a flocke, thou that dwellest betweene the Cherubims, shine forth.

לַ/מְנַצֵּ֥חַ אֶל שֹׁשַׁנִּ֑ים עֵד֖וּת לְ/אָסָ֣ף מִזְמֽוֹר
Before Ephraim and Beniamin, and Manasseh, stirre vp thy strength: and come and saue vs.

Turne vs againe, O God: and cause thy face to shine, and we shall bee saued.

O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou bee angry against the prayer of thy people?

אֱלֹהִ֥ים הֲשִׁיבֵ֑/נוּ וְ/הָאֵ֥ר פָּ֝נֶ֗י/ךָ וְ/נִוָּשֵֽׁעָה
Thou feedest them with the bread of teares: and giuest them teares to drinke in great measure.

יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָא֑וֹת עַד מָתַ֥י עָ֝שַׁ֗נְתָּ בִּ/תְפִלַּ֥ת עַמֶּֽ/ךָ
Thou makest vs a strife vnto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselues.

The hilles were couered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.

She sent out her boughs vnto the Sea: and her branches vnto the riuer.

כָּסּ֣וּ הָרִ֣ים צִלָּ֑/הּ וַ֝/עֲנָפֶ֗י/הָ אַֽרְזֵי אֵֽל
Why hast thou then broken downe her hedges: so that all they which passe by the way, doe plucke her?

The boare out of the wood doth waste it: and the wild beast of the field doth deuoure it.

לָ֭/מָּה פָּרַ֣צְתָּ גְדֵרֶ֑י/הָ וְ֝/אָר֗וּ/הָ כָּל עֹ֥בְרֵי דָֽרֶךְ
Returne, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: looke downe from heauen, and behold, and visit this vine:

יְכַרְסְמֶ֣/נָּֽה חֲזִ֣יר מִ/יָּ֑ר וְ/זִ֖יז שָׂדַ֣י יִרְעֶֽ/נָּה
And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted: and the branch that thou madest strong for thy selfe.

אֱלֹהִ֣ים צְבָאוֹת֮ שֽׁ֫וּב נָ֥א הַבֵּ֣ט מִ/שָּׁמַ֣יִם וּ/רְאֵ֑ה וּ֝/פְקֹ֗ד גֶּ֣פֶן זֹֽאת
It is burnt with fire, it is cut downe: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.

Let thy hand be vpon the man of thy right hand: vpon the sonne of man, whom thou madest strong for thy selfe.

שְׂרֻפָ֣ה בָ/אֵ֣שׁ כְּסוּחָ֑ה מִ/גַּעֲרַ֖ת פָּנֶ֣י/ךָ יֹאבֵֽדוּ
So will not wee goe backe from thee: quicken vs, and we will call vpon thy Name.

Turne vs againe, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine, and wee shall be saued.
