A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.

I will blesse the LORD at all times: his prayse shall continually bee in my mouth.

לְ/דָוִ֗ד בְּ/שַׁנּוֹת֣/וֹ אֶת טַ֭עְמ/וֹ לִ/פְנֵ֣י אֲבִימֶ֑לֶךְ וַֽ֝/יְגָרֲשֵׁ֗/הוּ וַ/יֵּלַֽךְ
My soule shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall heare thereof, and be glad.
GenevaMy soule shall glory in the Lord: the humble shall heare it, and be glad.
אֲבָרֲכָ֣ה אֶת יְהוָ֣ה בְּ/כָל עֵ֑ת תָּ֝מִ֗יד תְּֽהִלָּת֥/וֹ בְּ/פִֽ/י
O magnifie the LORD with me, and let vs exalt his name together.
GenevaPraise ye the Lord with me, and let vs magnifie his Name together.
בַּ֭/יהוָה תִּתְהַלֵּ֣ל נַפְשִׁ֑/י יִשְׁמְע֖וּ עֲנָוִ֣ים וְ/יִשְׂמָֽחוּ
I sought the LORD, and hee heard me; and deliuered mee from all my feares.
GenevaI sought the Lord, and he heard me: yea, he deliuered me out of all my feare.
גַּדְּל֣וּ לַ/יהוָ֣ה אִתִּ֑/י וּ/נְרוֹמְמָ֖ה שְׁמ֣/וֹ יַחְדָּֽו
They looked vnto him, and were lightned: and their faces were not ashamed.
GenevaThey shall looke vnto him, and runne to him: and their faces shall not be ashamed, saying,
דָּרַ֣שְׁתִּי אֶת יְהוָ֣ה וְ/עָנָ֑/נִי וּ/מִ/כָּל מְ֝גוּרוֹתַ֗/י הִצִּילָֽ/נִי
This poore man cried, and the LORD heard him; and saued him out of all his troubles.

הִבִּ֣יטוּ אֵלָ֣י/ו וְ/נָהָ֑רוּ וּ֝/פְנֵי/הֶ֗ם אַל יֶחְפָּֽרוּ
The Angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that feare him, and deliuereth them.
GenevaThe Angel of the Lord pitcheth round about them, that feare him, and deliuereth them.
זֶ֤ה עָנִ֣י קָ֭רָא וַ/יהוָ֣ה שָׁמֵ֑עַ וּ/מִ/כָּל צָ֝רוֹתָ֗י/ו הוֹשִׁיעֽ/וֹ
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
GenevaTaste ye and see, howe gratious the Lord is: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
חֹנֶ֤ה מַלְאַךְ יְהוָ֓ה סָ֘בִ֤יב לִֽ/ירֵאָ֗י/ו וַֽ/יְחַלְּצֵֽ/ם
O feare the LORD yee his Saints: for there is no want to them that feare him.
GenevaFeare the Lord, ye his Saintes: for nothing wanteth to them that feare him.
טַעֲמ֣וּ וּ֭/רְאוּ כִּי ט֣וֹב יְהוָ֑ה אַֽשְׁרֵ֥י הַ֝/גֶּ֗בֶר יֶחֱסֶה בּֽ/וֹ
The young lyons doe lacke, and suffer hunger: but they that seeke the LORD, shall not want any good thing.
GenevaThe lyons doe lacke and suffer hunger, but they, which seeke the Lord, shall want nothing that is good.
יְר֣אוּ אֶת יְהוָ֣ה קְדֹשָׁ֑י/ו כִּי אֵ֥ין מַ֝חְס֗וֹר לִ/ירֵאָֽי/ו
Come yee children, hearken vnto me: I will teach you the feare of the LORD.
GenevaCome children, hearken vnto me: I will teache you the feare of the Lord.
כְּ֭פִירִים רָשׁ֣וּ וְ/רָעֵ֑בוּ וְ/דֹרְשֵׁ֥י יְ֝הוָ֗ה לֹא יַחְסְר֥וּ כָל טֽוֹב
What man is hee that desireth life; and loueth many dayes, that he may see good?
GenevaWhat man is he, that desireth life, and loueth long dayes for to see good?
לְֽכוּ בָ֭נִים שִׁמְעוּ לִ֑/י יִֽרְאַ֥ת יְ֝הוָ֗ה אֲלַמֶּדְ/כֶֽם
Keepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lippes from speaking guile.
GenevaKeepe thy tongue from euill, and thy lips, that they speake no guile.
מִֽי הָ֭/אִישׁ הֶ/חָפֵ֣ץ חַיִּ֑ים אֹהֵ֥ב יָ֝מִ֗ים לִ/רְא֥וֹת טֽוֹב
Depart from euill, and doe good: seeke peace and pursue it.
GenevaEschewe euill and doe good: seeke peace and follow after it.
נְצֹ֣ר לְשׁוֹנְ/ךָ֣ מֵ/רָ֑ע וּ֝/שְׂפָתֶ֗י/ךָ מִ/דַּבֵּ֥ר מִרְמָֽה
The eies of the LORD are vpon the righteous; and his eares are open vnto their crie.
GenevaThe eyes of the Lord are vpon the righteous, and his eares are open vnto their crie.
ס֣וּר מֵ֭/רָע וַ/עֲשֵׂה ט֑וֹב בַּקֵּ֖שׁ שָׁל֣וֹם וְ/רָדְפֵֽ/הוּ
The face of the LORD is against them that doe euill; to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
GenevaBut the face of the Lord is against them that doe euill, to cut off their remembrance from the earth.
עֵינֵ֣י יְ֭הוָה אֶל צַדִּיקִ֑ים וְ֝/אָזְנָ֗י/ו אֶל שַׁוְעָתָֽ/ם
The righteous crie, and the LORD heareth; and deliuereth them out of all their troubles.

פְּנֵ֣י יְ֭הוָה בְּ/עֹ֣שֵׂי רָ֑ע לְ/הַכְרִ֖ית מֵ/אֶ֣רֶץ זִכְרָֽ/ם
The LORD is nigh vnto them that are of a broken heart: and saueth such as be of a contrite spirit.
GenevaThe Lord is neere vnto them that are of a contrite heart, and will saue such as be afflicted in Spirite.
צָעֲק֣וּ וַ/יהוָ֣ה שָׁמֵ֑עַ וּ/מִ/כָּל צָ֝רוֹתָ֗/ם הִצִּילָֽ/ם
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD deliuereth him out of them all.
GenevaGreat are the troubles of the righteous: but the Lord deliuereth him out of them all.
קָר֣וֹב יְ֭הוָה לְ/נִשְׁבְּרֵי לֵ֑ב וְֽ/אֶת דַּכְּאֵי ר֥וּחַ יוֹשִֽׁיעַ
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

רַ֭בּוֹת רָע֣וֹת צַדִּ֑יק וּ֝/מִ/כֻּלָּ֗/ם יַצִּילֶ֥/נּוּ יְהוָֽה
Euill shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shalbe desolate.
GenevaBut malice shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous, shall perish.
שֹׁמֵ֥ר כָּל עַצְמוֹתָ֑י/ו אַחַ֥ת מֵ֝/הֵ֗נָּה לֹ֣א נִשְׁבָּֽרָה
The LORD redeemech the soule of his seruants: and none of them that trust in him, shalbe desolate.
GenevaThe Lord redeemeth the soules of his seruants: and none, that trust in him, shall perish.
תְּמוֹתֵ֣ת רָשָׁ֣ע רָעָ֑ה וְ/שֹׂנְאֵ֖י צַדִּ֣יק יֶאְשָֽׁמוּ
