Psalms 122

I was glad when they sayd vnto me: Let vs goe into the house of the LORD.

GenevaA song of degrees, or Psalme of David. I rejoiced, when they sayd to me, We wil go into the house of the Lord.

שִׁ֥יר הַֽ/מַּעֲל֗וֹת לְ/דָ֫וִ֥ד שָׂ֭מַחְתִּי בְּ/אֹמְרִ֣ים לִ֑/י בֵּ֖ית יְהוָ֣ה נֵלֵֽךְ

Our feete shall stand within thy gates, O Ierusalem.

עֹ֭מְדוֹת הָי֣וּ רַגְלֵ֑י/נוּ בִּ֝/שְׁעָרַ֗יִ/ךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם

Ierusalem is builded as a citie, that is compact together:

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֥ם הַ/בְּנוּיָ֑ה כְּ֝/עִ֗יר שֶׁ/חֻבְּרָה לָּ֥/הּ יַחְדָּֽו

Whither the tribes goe vp, the tribes of the LORD, vnto the testimonie of Israel: to giue thankes vnto the name of the LORD.

שֶׁ/שָּׁ֨ם עָל֪וּ שְׁבָטִ֡ים שִׁבְטֵי יָ֭הּ עֵד֣וּת לְ/יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לְ֝/הֹד֗וֹת לְ/שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָֽה

For there are set thrones of iudgment: the thrones of the house of Dauid.

כִּ֤י שָׁ֨מָּ/ה יָשְׁב֣וּ כִסְא֣וֹת לְ/מִשְׁפָּ֑ט כִּ֝סְא֗וֹת לְ/בֵ֣ית דָּוִֽיד

Pray for the peace of Ierusalem: they shall prosper that loue thee.

שַׁ֭אֲלוּ שְׁל֣וֹם יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם יִ֝שְׁלָ֗יוּ אֹהֲבָֽיִ/ךְ

Peace be within thy walles: and prosperitie within thy palaces.

יְהִֽי שָׁל֥וֹם בְּ/חֵילֵ֑/ךְ שַׁ֝לְוָ֗ה בְּ/אַרְמְנוֹתָֽיִ/ךְ

For my brethren and companions sakes: I will now say, Peace be within thee.

לְ֭מַעַן אַחַ֣/י וְ/רֵעָ֑/י אֲדַבְּרָה נָּ֖א שָׁל֣וֹם בָּֽ/ךְ

Because of the house of the LORD our God: I will seeke thy good.
