And if a soule sinne, and heare the voyce of swearing, and is a witnesse, whether he hath seene or knowen of it, if he doe not vtter it, then he shall beare his iniquity.
GenevaAlso if any haue sinned, that is, If he haue heard the voyce of an othe, and hee can be a witnes, whether he hath seene or knowen of it, if hee doe not vtter it, he shall beare his iniquitie:
וְ/נֶ֣פֶשׁ כִּֽי תֶחֱטָ֗א וְ/שָֽׁמְעָה֙ ק֣וֹל אָלָ֔ה וְ/ה֣וּא עֵ֔ד א֥וֹ רָאָ֖ה א֣וֹ יָדָ֑ע אִם ל֥וֹא יַגִּ֖יד וְ/נָשָׂ֥א עֲוֺנֽ/וֹ
Or if a soule touch any vncleane thing, whether it be a carcase of an vncleane beast, or a carcase of vncleane cattell, or the carcase of vncleane creeping things, and if it be hidden from him, he also shall be vncleane, and guilty:
GenevaEither if one touche any vncleane thing, whether it be a carion of an vncleane beast, or a carion of vncleane cattel, or a carion of vncleane creeping things, and is not ware of it, yet he is vncleane, and hath offended:
א֣וֹ נֶ֗פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּגַּע֮ בְּ/כָל דָּבָ֣ר טָמֵא֒ אוֹ֩ בְ/נִבְלַ֨ת חַיָּ֜ה טְמֵאָ֗ה א֤וֹ בְּ/נִבְלַת֙ בְּהֵמָ֣ה טְמֵאָ֔ה א֕וֹ בְּ/נִבְלַ֖ת שֶׁ֣רֶץ טָמֵ֑א וְ/נֶעְלַ֣ם מִמֶּ֔/נּוּ וְ/ה֥וּא טָמֵ֖א וְ/אָשֵֽׁם
Or if he touch the vncleannesse of man, whatsoeuer vncleannesse it be that a man shalbe defiled withall, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth of it, then he shalbe guilty.
GenevaEyther if hee touche any vncleannesse of man (whatsoeuer vncleannes it be, that hee is defiled with) and is not ware of it, and after commeth to the knowledge of it, he hath sinned:
א֣וֹ כִ֤י יִגַּע֙ בְּ/טֻמְאַ֣ת אָדָ֔ם לְ/כֹל֙ טֻמְאָת֔/וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִטְמָ֖א בָּ֑/הּ וְ/נֶעְלַ֣ם מִמֶּ֔/נּוּ וְ/ה֥וּא יָדַ֖ע וְ/אָשֵֽׁם
Or if a soule sweare, pronouncing with his lips to do euill, or to do good, whatsoeuer it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him, when he knoweth of it, then he shalbe guilty in one of these.
GenevaEither if any sweare and pronounce with his lippes to do euill, or to doe good (whatsoeuer it bee that a man shall pronounce with an othe) and it be hid from him, and after knoweth that he hath offended in one of these poyntes,
א֣וֹ נֶ֡פֶשׁ כִּ֣י תִשָּׁבַע֩ לְ/בַטֵּ֨א בִ/שְׂפָתַ֜יִם לְ/הָרַ֣ע א֣וֹ לְ/הֵיטִ֗יב לְ֠/כֹל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְבַטֵּ֧א הָ/אָדָ֛ם בִּ/שְׁבֻעָ֖ה וְ/נֶעְלַ֣ם מִמֶּ֑/נּוּ וְ/הוּא יָדַ֥ע וְ/אָשֵׁ֖ם לְ/אַחַ֥ת מֵ/אֵֽלֶּה
And it shalbe when he shalbe guiltie in one of these things, that he shall confesse that hee hath sinned in that thing.
GenevaWhe he hath sinned in any of these things, then he shall confesse that he hath sinned therein.
וְ/הָיָ֥ה כִֽי יֶאְשַׁ֖ם לְ/אַחַ֣ת מֵ/אֵ֑לֶּה וְ/הִ֨תְוַדָּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָ֖א עָלֶֽי/הָ
And he shall bring his trespasse offering vnto the LORD for his sinne which he hath sinned, a female from the flocke, a lambe, or a kidde of the goates, for a sinne offering: And the Priest shal make an atonement for him concerning his sinne.
GenevaTherefore shall he bring his trespasse offring vnto the Lord for his sinne which he hath committed, euen a female from ye flocke, be it a lambe or a she goat for a sinne offring, and the Priest shall make an atonement for him, concerning his sinne.
וְ/הֵבִ֣יא אֶת אֲשָׁמ֣/וֹ לַ/יהוָ֡ה עַ֣ל חַטָּאת/וֹ֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר חָטָ֜א נְקֵבָ֨ה מִן הַ/צֹּ֥אן כִּשְׂבָּ֛ה אֽוֹ שְׂעִירַ֥ת עִזִּ֖ים לְ/חַטָּ֑את וְ/כִפֶּ֥ר עָלָ֛י/ו הַ/כֹּהֵ֖ן מֵ/חַטָּאתֽ/וֹ
And if hee be not able to bring a lambe, then he shall bring for his trespasse which hee hath committed, two turtle doues, or two yong pigeons vnto the LORD: one for a sinne offring, and the other for a burnt offering.
GenevaBut if he be not able to bring a sheepe, he shall bring for his trespas which he hath committed, two turtle doues, or two yong pigeons vnto the Lord, one for a sinne offring, and the other for a burnt offring.
וְ/אִם לֹ֨א תַגִּ֣יע יָד/וֹ֮ דֵּ֣י שֶׂה֒ וְ/הֵבִ֨יא אֶת אֲשָׁמ֜/וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֗א שְׁתֵּ֥י תֹרִ֛ים אֽוֹ שְׁנֵ֥י בְנֵֽי יוֹנָ֖ה לַֽ/יהוָ֑ה אֶחָ֥ד לְ/חַטָּ֖את וְ/אֶחָ֥ד לְ/עֹלָֽה
And he shall bring them vnto the Priest, who shall offer that which is for the sinne offering first, and wring off his head from his necke, but shall not diuide it asunder.
GenevaSo he shall bring them vnto the Priest, who shall offer the sinne offring first, and wring the necke of it a sunder, but not plucke it cleane off.
וְ/הֵבִ֤יא אֹתָ/ם֙ אֶל הַ/כֹּהֵ֔ן וְ/הִקְרִ֛יב אֶת אֲשֶׁ֥ר לַ/חַטָּ֖את רִאשׁוֹנָ֑ה וּ/מָלַ֧ק אֶת רֹאשׁ֛/וֹ מִ/מּ֥וּל עָרְפּ֖/וֹ וְ/לֹ֥א יַבְדִּֽיל
And he shall sprinckle of the blood of the sinne offering vpon the side of the Altar, and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottome of the altar: it is a sinne offering.
GenevaAfter he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sinne offring vpon the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be shed at the foote of the altar: for it is a sinne offering.
וְ/הִזָּ֞ה מִ/דַּ֤ם הַ/חַטָּאת֙ עַל קִ֣יר הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וְ/הַ/נִּשְׁאָ֣ר בַּ/דָּ֔ם יִמָּצֵ֖ה אֶל יְס֣וֹד הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֑חַ חַטָּ֖את הֽוּא
And hee shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the maner: and the Priest shal make an atonement for him for his sinne, which he had sinned, and it shall be forgiuen him.
GenevaAlso he shall offer the seconde for a burnt offring as the maner is: so shall the Priest make an atonement for him (for his sinne which hee hath committed) and it shalbe forgiuen him.
וְ/אֶת הַ/שֵּׁנִ֛י יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה עֹלָ֖ה כַּ/מִּשְׁפָּ֑ט וְ/כִפֶּ֨ר עָלָ֧י/ו הַ/כֹּהֵ֛ן מֵ/חַטָּאת֥/וֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָ֖א וְ/נִסְלַ֥ח לֽ/וֹ
¶ But if hee be not able to bring two turtle doues, or two yong pigeons; then he that sinned, shall bring for his offring the tenth part of an Ephah of fine flowre for a sinne offering: hee shall put no oyle vpon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sinne offering.
GenevaBut if he be not able to bring two turtle doues, or two yong pigeons, then he that hath sinned, shall bring for his offring, the tenth parte of an Ephah of fine floure for a sinne offring, he shall put none oyle thereto, neither put any incense thereon: for it is a sinne offering.
וְ/אִם לֹא֩ תַשִּׂ֨יג יָד֜/וֹ לִ/שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֗ים אוֹ֮ לִ/שְׁנֵ֣י בְנֵי יוֹנָה֒ וְ/הֵבִ֨יא אֶת קָרְבָּנ֜/וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֗א עֲשִׂירִ֧ת הָ/אֵפָ֛ה סֹ֖לֶת לְ/חַטָּ֑את לֹא יָשִׂ֨ים עָלֶ֜י/הָ שֶׁ֗מֶן וְ/לֹא יִתֵּ֤ן עָלֶ֨י/הָ֙ לְבֹנָ֔ה כִּ֥י חַטָּ֖את הִֽיא
Then shall hee bring it to the Priest, and the Priest shall take his handfull of it, euen a memoriall thereof, and burne it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire vnto the LORD: it is a sinne offering.
GenevaThen shall hee bring it to the Priest, and the Priest shall take his handfull of it for the remembrance thereof, and burne it vpon the altar with the offrings of the Lord made by fire: for it is a sinne offring.
וֶ/הֱבִיאָ/הּ֮ אֶל הַ/כֹּהֵן֒ וְ/קָמַ֣ץ הַ/כֹּהֵ֣ן מִ֠מֶּ/נָּה מְל֨וֹא קֻמְצ֜/וֹ אֶת אַזְכָּרָתָ/ה֙ וְ/הִקְטִ֣יר הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֔חָ/ה עַ֖ל אִשֵּׁ֣י יְהוָ֑ה חַטָּ֖את הִֽוא
And the Priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sinne that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiuen him: and the remnant shall be the Priests, as a meat offering.
GenevaSo the Priest shall make an atonement for him, as touching his sinne that he hath committed in one of these poyntes, and it shall bee forgiuen him: and the remnant shalbe the Priests, as the meate offring.
וְ/כִפֶּר֩ עָלָ֨י/ו הַ/כֹּהֵ֜ן עַל חַטָּאת֧/וֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָ֛א מֵֽ/אַחַ֥ת מֵ/אֵ֖לֶּה וְ/נִסְלַ֣ח ל֑/וֹ וְ/הָיְתָ֥ה לַ/כֹּהֵ֖ן כַּ/מִּנְחָֽה
¶ And the LORD spake vnto Moses, saying,
GenevaAnd the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
וַ/יְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּ/אמֹֽר
If a soule commit a trespasse, and sinne through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then hee shall bring for his trespasse vnto the LORD, a ramme without blemish, out of the flockes, with thy estimation by shekels of siluer, after the shekel of the Sanctuarie, for a trespasse offering.
GenevaIf any person transgresse and sinne through ignorance by taking away things consecrated vnto the Lord, hee shall then bring for his trespasse offring vnto the Lord a ramme without blemish out of the flocke, worth two shekels of siluer by thy estimation after the shekel of the Sanctuarie, for a trespasse offring.
נֶ֚פֶשׁ כִּֽי תִמְעֹ֣ל מַ֔עַל וְ/חָֽטְאָה֙ בִּ/שְׁגָגָ֔ה מִ/קָּדְשֵׁ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וְ/הֵבִיא֩ אֶת אֲשָׁמ֨/וֹ לַֽ/יהוָ֜ה אַ֧יִל תָּמִ֣ים מִן הַ/צֹּ֗אן בְּ/עֶרְכְּ/ךָ֛ כֶּֽסֶף שְׁקָלִ֥ים בְּ/שֶֽׁקֶל הַ/קֹּ֖דֶשׁ לְ/אָשָֽׁם
And hee shall make amends for the harme that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall adde the fift part thereto, and giue it vnto the Priest: and the Priest shall make an atonement for him with the ramme of the trespasse offering, and it shall be forgiuen him.
GenevaSo hee shall restore that wherein hee hath offended, in taking away of the holy thing, and shall put the fift part more thereto, and giue it vnto the Priest: so the Priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of ye trespasse offring, and it shalbe forgiuen him.
וְ/אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר֩ חָטָ֨א מִן הַ/קֹּ֜דֶשׁ יְשַׁלֵּ֗ם וְ/אֶת חֲמִֽישִׁת/וֹ֙ יוֹסֵ֣ף עָלָ֔י/ו וְ/נָתַ֥ן אֹת֖/וֹ לַ/כֹּהֵ֑ן וְ/הַ/כֹּהֵ֗ן יְכַפֵּ֥ר עָלָ֛י/ו בְּ/אֵ֥יל הָ/אָשָׁ֖ם וְ/נִסְלַ֥ח לֽ/וֹ
¶ And if a soule sinne, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commaundements of the LORD, though he wist it not, yet is hee guiltie, and shall beare his iniquitie.
GenevaAlso if any sinne and doe against any of the commandements of the Lord, which ought not to be done, and knowe not and sinne and beare his iniquitie,
וְ/אִם נֶ֨פֶשׁ֙ כִּ֣י תֶֽחֱטָ֔א וְ/עָֽשְׂתָ֗ה אַחַת֙ מִ/כָּל מִצְוֺ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֣א תֵעָשֶׂ֑ינָה וְ/לֹֽא יָדַ֥ע וְ/אָשֵׁ֖ם וְ/נָשָׂ֥א עֲוֺנֽ/וֹ
And he shall bring a ramme without blemish out of the flocke, with thy estimation, for a trespasse offering vnto the Priest: and the Priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred, and wist it not: and it shall be forgiuen him.
GenevaThen shall he bring a ramme without blemishe out of the flocke, in thy estimation worth two shekels for a trespasse offring vnto ye Priest: and the Priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred, and was not ware: so it shalbe forgiuen him.
וְ֠/הֵבִיא אַ֣יִל תָּמִ֧ים מִן הַ/צֹּ֛אן בְּ/עֶרְכְּ/ךָ֥ לְ/אָשָׁ֖ם אֶל הַ/כֹּהֵ֑ן וְ/כִפֶּר֩ עָלָ֨י/ו הַ/כֹּהֵ֜ן עַ֣ל שִׁגְגָת֧/וֹ אֲשֶׁר שָׁגָ֛ג וְ/ה֥וּא לֹֽא יָדַ֖ע וְ/נִסְלַ֥ח לֽ/וֹ
It is a trespasse offring: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.
GenevaThis is the trespasse offring for the trespasse committed against the Lord.
אָשָׁ֖ם ה֑וּא אָשֹׁ֥ם אָשַׁ֖ם לַ/יהוָֽה
