Leviticus 12

And the LORD spake vnto Moses, saying,

GenevaAnd the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

וַ/יְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּ/אמֹֽר

Speake vnto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman haue conceiued seed, and borne a man child, then she shal be vncleane seuen dayes: according to the dayes of the separation for her infirmitie shall she be vncleane.

GenevaSpeake vnto the children of Israel, and say, When a woman hath brought forth seede, and borne a manchilde, shee shalbe vncleane seuen dayes, like as she is vncleane when she is put apart for her disease.

דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ לֵ/אמֹ֔ר אִשָּׁה֙ כִּ֣י תַזְרִ֔יעַ וְ/יָלְדָ֖ה זָכָ֑ר וְ/טָֽמְאָה֙ שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֔ים כִּ/ימֵ֛י נִדַּ֥ת דְּוֺתָ֖/הּ תִּטְמָֽא

And in the eight day, the flesh of his foreskinne shall be circumcised.

Geneva(And in the eight day, the foreskin of the childes flesh shalbe circumcised)

וּ/בַ/יּ֖וֹם הַ/שְּׁמִינִ֑י יִמּ֖וֹל בְּשַׂ֥ר עָרְלָתֽ/וֹ

And she shal then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirtie dayes: Shee shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the Sanctuary, vntill the dayes of her purifying be fulfilled.

GenevaAnd she shall continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirtie dayes: she shall touch no halowed thing, nor come into the Sanctuarie, vntil the time of her purifying be out.

וּ/שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים יוֹם֙ וּ/שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֔ים תֵּשֵׁ֖ב בִּ/דְמֵ֣י טָהֳרָ֑ה בְּ/כָל קֹ֣דֶשׁ לֹֽא תִגָּ֗ע וְ/אֶל הַ/מִּקְדָּשׁ֙ לֹ֣א תָבֹ֔א עַד מְלֹ֖את יְמֵ֥י טָהֳרָֽ/הּ

But if she beare a maid child, then she shalbe vncleane two weekes, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and sixe dayes.

GenevaBut if she beare a mayde childe, then shee shalbe vncleane two weekes, as when shee hath her disease: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying three score and sixe dayes.

וְ/אִם נְקֵבָ֣ה תֵלֵ֔ד וְ/טָמְאָ֥ה שְׁבֻעַ֖יִם כְּ/נִדָּתָ֑/הּ וְ/שִׁשִּׁ֥ים יוֹם֙ וְ/שֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֔ים תֵּשֵׁ֖ב עַל דְּמֵ֥י טָהֳרָֽה

And when the dayes of her purifying are fulfilled, for a sonne, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lambe of the first yeere for a burnt offring, & a yong pigeon, or a turtle doue for a sinne offering, vnto the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, vnto the Priest:

GenevaNowe when the dayes of her purifying are out, (whether it be for a sonne or for a daughter) shee shall bring to the Priest a lambe of one yeere olde for a burnt offering, and a yong pigeon or a turtle doue for a sinne offring, vnto the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation,

וּ/בִ/מְלֹ֣את יְמֵ֣י טָהֳרָ֗/הּ לְ/בֵן֮ א֣וֹ לְ/בַת֒ תָּבִ֞יא כֶּ֤בֶשׂ בֶּן שְׁנָת/וֹ֙ לְ/עֹלָ֔ה וּ/בֶן יוֹנָ֥ה אוֹ תֹ֖ר לְ/חַטָּ֑את אֶל פֶּ֥תַח אֹֽהֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד אֶל הַ/כֹּהֵֽן

Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her, and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath borne a male or a female.

GenevaWho shall offer it before the Lord, and make an atonement for her: so she shalbe purged of the issue of her blood this is the law for her that hath borne a male or female.

וְ/הִקְרִיב֞/וֹ לִ/פְנֵ֤י יְהוָה֙ וְ/כִפֶּ֣ר עָלֶ֔י/הָ וְ/טָהֲרָ֖ה מִ/מְּקֹ֣ר דָּמֶ֑י/הָ זֹ֤את תּוֹרַת֙ הַ/יֹּלֶ֔דֶת לַ/זָּכָ֖ר א֥וֹ לַ/נְּקֵבָֽה

And if she be not able to bring a lambe, then she shall bring two turtles, or two yong pigeons, the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sinne offering: and the Priest shall make an atonement for her, and shee shall bee cleane.

GenevaBut if she bee not able to bring a lambe, she shall bring two turtles, or two yong pigeons: the one for a burnt offring, and the other for a sinne offring: and the Priest shall make an atonement for her: so she shall be cleane.

וְ/אִם לֹ֨א תִמְצָ֣א יָדָ/הּ֮ דֵּ֣י שֶׂה֒ וְ/לָקְחָ֣ה שְׁתֵּֽי תֹרִ֗ים א֤וֹ שְׁנֵי֙ בְּנֵ֣י יוֹנָ֔ה אֶחָ֥ד לְ/עֹלָ֖ה וְ/אֶחָ֣ד לְ/חַטָּ֑את וְ/כִפֶּ֥ר עָלֶ֛י/הָ הַ/כֹּהֵ֖ן וְ/טָהֵֽרָה
