Exodus 36
Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and euery wise hearted man, in whome the LORD put wisedome and vnderstanding, to know how to worke all maner of worke for the seruice of the Sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.
GenevaThen wrought Bezaleel, and Aholiab, and all cunning men, to whome the Lord gaue wisedome, and vnderstanding, to knowe howe to worke all maner worke for the seruice of the Sanctuarie, according to all that the Lord had commanded.
וְ/עָשָׂה֩ בְצַלְאֵ֨ל וְ/אָהֳלִיאָ֜ב וְ/כֹ֣ל אִ֣ישׁ חֲכַם לֵ֗ב אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן יְהוָ֜ה חָכְמָ֤ה וּ/תְבוּנָה֙ בָּ/הֵ֔מָּה לָ/דַ֣עַת לַ/עֲשֹׂ֔ת אֶֽת כָּל מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבֹדַ֣ת הַ/קֹּ֑דֶשׁ לְ/כֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּ֖ה יְהוָֽה
And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and euery wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisedome, euen euery one whose heart stirred him vp to come vnto the worke to doe it.
GenevaFor Moses had called Bezaleel, and Aholiab, and all the wise hearted men, in whose heartes the Lord had giuen wisedome, euen as many as their hearts encouraged to come vnto that worke to worke it.
וַ/יִּקְרָ֣א מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶל בְּצַלְאֵ֘ל וְ/אֶל אָֽהֳלִיאָב֒ וְ/אֶל֙ כָּל אִ֣ישׁ חֲכַם לֵ֔ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה חָכְמָ֖ה בְּ/לִבּ֑/וֹ כֹּ֚ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר נְשָׂא֣/וֹ לִבּ֔/וֹ לְ/קָרְבָ֥ה אֶל הַ/מְּלָאכָ֖ה לַ/עֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽ/הּ
And they receiued of Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought, for the worke of the seruice of the Sanctuarie, to make it withall. And they brought yet vnto him free offerings euery morning.

וַ/יִּקְח֞וּ מִ/לִּ/פְנֵ֣י מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֵ֤ת כָּל הַ/תְּרוּמָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֵבִ֜יאוּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לִ/מְלֶ֛אכֶת עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַ/קֹּ֖דֶשׁ לַ/עֲשֹׂ֣ת אֹתָ֑/הּ וְ֠/הֵם הֵבִ֨יאוּ אֵלָ֥י/ו ע֛וֹד נְדָבָ֖ה בַּ/בֹּ֥קֶר בַּ/בֹּֽקֶר
And al the wisemen that wrought all the worke of the Sanctuary, came euery man from his worke which they made.
GenevaSo all the wise men, that wrought all the holy worke, came euery man from his worke which they wrought,
וַ/יָּבֹ֨אוּ֙ כָּל הַ֣/חֲכָמִ֔ים הָ/עֹשִׂ֕ים אֵ֖ת כָּל מְלֶ֣אכֶת הַ/קֹּ֑דֶשׁ אִֽישׁ אִ֥ישׁ מִ/מְּלַאכְתּ֖/וֹ אֲשֶׁר הֵ֥מָּה עֹשִֽׂים
¶ And they spake vnto Moses, saying, The people bring much more then enough for the seruice of the worke which the LORD commaunded to make.
GenevaAnd spake to Moses, saying, The people bring too much, and more then ynough for the vse of the worke, which the Lord hath commanded to be made.
וַ/יֹּאמְרוּ֙ אֶל מֹשֶׁ֣ה לֵּ/אמֹ֔ר מַרְבִּ֥ים הָ/עָ֖ם לְ/הָבִ֑יא מִ/דֵּ֤י הָֽ/עֲבֹדָה֙ לַ/מְּלָאכָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לַ/עֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽ/הּ
And Moses gaue commandement, and they caused it to bee proclaimed throughout the campe, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more worke for the offering of the Sanctuarie: so the people were restrained from bringing.
GenevaThen Moses gaue a commandement, and they caused it to be proclaymed throughout the hoste, saying, Let neither man nor woman prepare any more worke for the oblation of the Sanctuarie. So the people were stayed from offring.
וַ/יְצַ֣ו מֹשֶׁ֗ה וַ/יַּעֲבִ֨ירוּ ק֥וֹל בַּֽ/מַּחֲנֶה֮ לֵ/אמֹר֒ אִ֣ישׁ וְ/אִשָּׁ֗ה אַל יַעֲשׂוּ ע֛וֹד מְלָאכָ֖ה לִ/תְרוּמַ֣ת הַ/קֹּ֑דֶשׁ וַ/יִּכָּלֵ֥א הָ/עָ֖ם מֵ/הָבִֽיא
For the stuffe they had was sufficient for all the worke to make it, and too much.

וְ/הַ/מְּלָאכָ֗ה הָיְתָ֥ה דַיָּ֛/ם לְ/כָל הַ/מְּלָאכָ֖ה לַ/עֲשׂ֣וֹת אֹתָ֑/הּ וְ/הוֹתֵֽר
¶ And euery wise hearted man, among them that wrought the worke of the Tabernacle, made ten curtaines, of fine twined linnen, and blew, and purple, and scarlet: with Cherubims of cunning worke made he them.
GenevaAll the cunning men therefore among the workemen, made for the Tabernacle ten curtaines of fine twined linnen, and of blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet: Cherubims of broydred worke made they vpon them.
וַ/יַּעֲשׂ֨וּ כָל חֲכַם לֵ֜ב בְּ/עֹשֵׂ֧י הַ/מְּלָאכָ֛ה אֶת הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֖ן עֶ֣שֶׂר יְרִיעֹ֑ת שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֗ר וּ/תְכֵ֤לֶת וְ/אַרְגָּמָן֙ וְ/תוֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֔י כְּרֻבִ֛ים מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֖ב עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽ/ם
The length of one curtaine was twentie & eight cubites, and the breadth of one curtaine foure cubites: the curtaines were all of one cise.

אֹ֜רֶךְ הַ/יְרִיעָ֣ה הָֽ/אַחַ֗ת שְׁמֹנֶ֤ה וְ/עֶשְׂרִים֙ בָּֽ/אַמָּ֔ה וְ/רֹ֨חַב֙ אַרְבַּ֣ע בָּֽ/אַמָּ֔ה הַ/יְרִיעָ֖ה הָ/אֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֖ת לְ/כָל הַ/יְרִיעֹֽת
And he coupled the fiue curtaines one vnto another: and the other fiue curtaines he coupled one vnto another.
GenevaAnd he coupled fiue curtaines together, and other fiue coupled he together.
וַ/יְחַבֵּר֙ אֶת חֲמֵ֣שׁ הַ/יְרִיעֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל אֶחָ֑ת וְ/חָמֵ֤שׁ יְרִיעֹת֙ חִבַּ֔ר אַחַ֖ת אֶל אֶחָֽת
And he made loopes of blew, on the edge of one curtaine, from the seluedge in the coupling: likewise hee made in the vttermost side of another curtaine, in the coupling of the second.
GenevaAnd he made strings of blewe silke by the edge of one curtaine, in the seluedge of the coupling: likewise he made on the side of the other curtaine in the seluedge in the second coupling.
וַ/יַּ֜עַשׂ לֻֽלְאֹ֣ת תְּכֵ֗לֶת עַ֣ל שְׂפַ֤ת הַ/יְרִיעָה֙ הָֽ/אֶחָ֔ת מִ/קָּצָ֖ה בַּ/מַּחְבָּ֑רֶת כֵּ֤ן עָשָׂה֙ בִּ/שְׂפַ֣ת הַ/יְרִיעָ֔ה הַ/קִּ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה בַּ/מַּחְבֶּ֖רֶת הַ/שֵּׁנִֽית
Fiftie loopes made he in one curtaine, and fiftie loopes made hee in the edge of the curtaine which was in the coupling of the second: the loopes held one curtaine to another.
GenevaFiftie strings made he in the one curtaine, and fiftie strings made he in the edge of the other curtaine, which was in the second coupling: the strings were set one against another.
חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֮ בַּ/יְרִיעָ֣ה הָ/אֶחָת֒ וַ/חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֙ בִּ/קְצֵ֣ה הַ/יְרִיעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר בַּ/מַּחְבֶּ֣רֶת הַ/שֵּׁנִ֑ית מַקְבִּילֹת֙ הַ/לֻּ֣לָאֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל אֶחָֽת
And he made fiftie taches of gold, and coupled the curtaines one vnto another with the taches. So it became one tabernacle.
GenevaAfter, he made fiftie taches of golde, and coupled the curtaines one to another with the taches: so was it one Tabernacle.
וַ/יַּ֕עַשׂ חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים קַרְסֵ֣י זָהָ֑ב וַ/יְחַבֵּ֨ר אֶת הַ/יְרִעֹ֜ת אַחַ֤ת אֶל אַחַת֙ בַּ/קְּרָסִ֔ים וַֽ/יְהִ֥י הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֖ן אֶחָֽד
¶ And he made curtaines of goats haire, for the tent ouer the Tabernacle: eleuen curtaines he made them.
GenevaAlso he made curtaines of goates heare for the couering vpon the Tabernacle: he made them to the nomber of eleuen curtaines.
וַ/יַּ֨עַשׂ֙ יְרִיעֹ֣ת עִזִּ֔ים לְ/אֹ֖הֶל עַל הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עַשְׁתֵּֽי עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה יְרִיעֹ֖ת עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָֽ/ם
The length of one curtaine was thirtie cubites, and foure cubites was the breadth of one curtaine: the eleuen curtaines were of one cise.
GenevaThe length of one curtaine had thirtie cubites, and the bredth of one curtaine foure cubites: the eleuen curtaines were of one cise.
אֹ֜רֶךְ הַ/יְרִיעָ֣ה הָ/אַחַ֗ת שְׁלֹשִׁים֙ בָּֽ/אַמָּ֔ה וְ/אַרְבַּ֣ע אַמּ֔וֹת רֹ֖חַב הַ/יְרִיעָ֣ה הָ/אֶחָ֑ת מִדָּ֣ה אַחַ֔ת לְ/עַשְׁתֵּ֥י עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה יְרִיעֹֽת
And he coupled fiue curtaines by themselues, and sixe curtaines by themselues.
GenevaAnd hee coupled fiue curtaines by themselues, and sixe curtaines by themselues:
וַ/יְחַבֵּ֛ר אֶת חֲמֵ֥שׁ הַ/יְרִיעֹ֖ת לְ/בָ֑ד וְ/אֶת שֵׁ֥שׁ הַ/יְרִיעֹ֖ת לְ/בָֽד
And he made fiftie loopes vpon the vttermost edge of the curtaine in the coupling, and fiftie loopes made he vpon the edge of the curtaine, which coupleth the second.
GenevaAlso he made fiftie strings vpon the edge of one curtaine in the seluedge in the coupling, and fiftie strings made hee vpon the edge of the other curtaine in the second coupling.
וַ/יַּ֜עַשׂ לֻֽלָאֹ֣ת חֲמִשִּׁ֗ים עַ֚ל שְׂפַ֣ת הַ/יְרִיעָ֔ה הַ/קִּיצֹנָ֖ה בַּ/מַּחְבָּ֑רֶת וַ/חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים לֻלָאֹ֗ת עָשָׂה֙ עַל שְׂפַ֣ת הַ/יְרִיעָ֔ה הַ/חֹבֶ֖רֶת הַ/שֵּׁנִֽית
And he made fiftie taches of brasse to couple the tent together that it might be one.
GenevaHe made also fiftie taches of brasse to couple the couering that it might be one.
וַ/יַּ֛עַשׂ קַרְסֵ֥י נְחֹ֖שֶׁת חֲמִשִּׁ֑ים לְ/חַבֵּ֥ר אֶת הָ/אֹ֖הֶל לִֽ/הְיֹ֥ת אֶחָֽד
And he made a couering for the tent of rammes skinnes died red, and a couering of badgers skinnes aboue that.
GenevaAnd he made a couering vpon the pauilion of rams skinnes dyed red, and a couering of badgers skinnes aboue.
וַ/יַּ֤עַשׂ מִכְסֶה֙ לָ/אֹ֔הֶל עֹרֹ֥ת אֵלִ֖ים מְאָדָּמִ֑ים וּ/מִכְסֵ֛ה עֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים מִ/לְ/מָֽעְלָ/ה
¶ And hee made boards for the Tabernacle of Shittim wood, standing up.
GenevaLikewise he made the boards for the Tabernacle, of Shittim wood to stand vp.
וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת הַ/קְּרָשִׁ֖ים לַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּ֖ים עֹמְדִֽים
The length of a board was ten cubites, and the breadth of a board one cubite and a halfe.

עֶ֥שֶׂר אַמֹּ֖ת אֹ֣רֶךְ הַ/קָּ֑רֶשׁ וְ/אַמָּה֙ וַ/חֲצִ֣י הָֽ/אַמָּ֔ה רֹ֖חַב הַ/קֶּ֥רֶשׁ הָ/אֶחָֽד
One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
GenevaOne board had two tenons, set in order as the feete of a ladder, one against another: thus made he for all the boardes of the Tabernacle.
שְׁתֵּ֣י יָדֹ֗ת לַ/קֶּ֨רֶשׁ֙ הָֽ/אֶחָ֔ד מְשֻׁלָּבֹ֔ת אַחַ֖ת אֶל אֶחָ֑ת כֵּ֣ן עָשָׂ֔ה לְ/כֹ֖ל קַרְשֵׁ֥י הַ/מִּשְׁכָּֽן
And he made boards for the Tabernacle: twentie boards for the South side, Southward.
GenevaSo he made twentie boardes for the South side of the Tabernacle, euen full South.
וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת הַ/קְּרָשִׁ֖ים לַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֑ן עֶשְׂרִ֣ים קְרָשִׁ֔ים לִ/פְאַ֖ת נֶ֥גֶב תֵּימָֽנָ/ה
And fourtie sockets of siluer hee made vnder the twentie boards: two sockets vnder one board for his two tenons, and two sockets vnder another board, for his two tenons.
GenevaAnd fourtie sockets of siluer made he vnder the twentie boardes, two sockets vnder one board for his two tenons, and two sockets vnder another board for his two tenons.
וְ/אַרְבָּעִים֙ אַדְנֵי כֶ֔סֶף עָשָׂ֕ה תַּ֖חַת עֶשְׂרִ֣ים הַ/קְּרָשִׁ֑ים שְׁנֵ֨י אֲדָנִ֜ים תַּֽחַת הַ/קֶּ֤רֶשׁ הָ/אֶחָד֙ לִ/שְׁתֵּ֣י יְדֹתָ֔י/ו וּ/שְׁנֵ֧י אֲדָנִ֛ים תַּֽחַת הַ/קֶּ֥רֶשׁ הָ/אֶחָ֖ד לִ/שְׁתֵּ֥י יְדֹתָֽי/ו
And for the other side of the Tabernacle which is toward the North corner, he made twentie boards.
GenevaAlso for the other side of the Tabernacle toward the North, he made twentie boards,
וּ/לְ/צֶ֧לַע הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֛ן הַ/שֵּׁנִ֖ית לִ/פְאַ֣ת צָפ֑וֹן עָשָׂ֖ה עֶשְׂרִ֥ים קְרָשִֽׁים
And their fourtie sockets of siluer: two sockets vnder one board, and two sockets vnder another board.
GenevaAnd their fourtie sockets of siluer, two sockets vnder one board, and two sockets vnder another boarde.
וְ/אַרְבָּעִ֥ים אַדְנֵי/הֶ֖ם כָּ֑סֶף שְׁנֵ֣י אֲדָנִ֗ים תַּ֚חַת הַ/קֶּ֣רֶשׁ הָ/אֶחָ֔ד וּ/שְׁנֵ֣י אֲדָנִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת הַ/קֶּ֥רֶשׁ הָ/אֶחָֽד
And for the sides of the Tabernacle westward, he made sixe boards.
GenevaLikewise toward the Westside of the Tabernacle he made sixe boardes.
וּֽ/לְ/יַרְכְּתֵ֥י הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֖ן יָ֑מָּ/ה עָשָׂ֖ה שִׁשָּׁ֥ה קְרָשִֽׁים
And two boards made he for the corners of the Tabernacle, in the two sides.
GenevaAnd two boardes made he in the corners of the Tabernacle, for either side,
וּ/שְׁנֵ֤י קְרָשִׁים֙ עָשָׂ֔ה לִ/מְקֻצְעֹ֖ת הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֑ן בַּ/יַּרְכָתָֽיִם
And they were coupled beneath and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus hee did to both of them in both the corners.
GenevaAnd they were ioyned beneath, and likewise were made sure aboue with a ring: thus he did to both in both corners.
וְ/הָי֣וּ תוֹאֲמִם֮ מִ/לְּ/מַטָּה֒ וְ/יַחְדָּ֗ו יִהְי֤וּ תַמִּים֙ אֶל רֹאשׁ֔/וֹ אֶל הַ/טַּבַּ֖עַת הָ/אֶחָ֑ת כֵּ֚ן עָשָׂ֣ה לִ/שְׁנֵי/הֶ֔ם לִ/שְׁנֵ֖י הַ/מִּקְצֹעֹֽת
And there were eight boards, and their sockets were sixteene sockets of siluer: vnder euery board two sockets.

וְ/הָיוּ֙ שְׁמֹנָ֣ה קְרָשִׁ֔ים וְ/אַדְנֵי/הֶ֣ם כֶּ֔סֶף שִׁשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֖ר אֲדָנִ֑ים שְׁנֵ֤י אֲדָנִים֙ שְׁנֵ֣י אֲדָנִ֔ים תַּ֖חַת הַ/קֶּ֥רֶשׁ הָ/אֶחָֽד
¶ And he made barres of Shittim wood: five for the boards of the one side of the Tabernacle,

וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ בְּרִיחֵ֖י עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים חֲמִשָּׁ֕ה לְ/קַרְשֵׁ֥י צֶֽלַע הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֖ן הָ/אֶחָֽת
And fiue barres for the boards of the other side of the Tabernacle, and fiue barres for the boards of the Tabernacle for the sides westward.
GenevaAnd fiue barres for the boardes in the other side of the Tabernacle, and fiue barres for the boards of the Tabernacle on the side toward the West.
וַ/חֲמִשָּׁ֣ה בְרִיחִ֔ם לְ/קַרְשֵׁ֥י צֶֽלַע הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֖ן הַ/שֵּׁנִ֑ית וַ/חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה בְרִיחִם֙ לְ/קַרְשֵׁ֣י הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֔ן לַ/יַּרְכָתַ֖יִם יָֽמָּ/ה
And he made the middle barre to shoot thorow the boards from the one end to the other.
GenevaAnd he made the middest barre to shoote through the boards, from the one end to ye other.
וַ/יַּ֖עַשׂ אֶת הַ/בְּרִ֣יחַ הַ/תִּיכֹ֑ן לִ/בְרֹ֨חַ֙ בְּ/ת֣וֹךְ הַ/קְּרָשִׁ֔ים מִן הַ/קָּצֶ֖ה אֶל הַ/קָּצֶֽה
And he ouerlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of golde to be places for the barres, and ouerlaide the barres with gold.
GenevaHe ouerlayd also the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold for places for the barres, and couered the barres with golde.
וְֽ/אֶת הַ/קְּרָשִׁ֞ים צִפָּ֣ה זָהָ֗ב וְ/אֶת טַבְּעֹתָ/ם֙ עָשָׂ֣ה זָהָ֔ב בָּתִּ֖ים לַ/בְּרִיחִ֑ם וַ/יְצַ֥ף אֶת הַ/בְּרִיחִ֖ם זָהָֽב
¶ And he made a Uaile of blew, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linnen: with Cherubims made he it of cunning worke.

וַ/יַּ֨עַשׂ֙ אֶת הַ/פָּרֹ֔כֶת תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְ/אַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְ/תוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְ/שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֑ר מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה חֹשֵׁ֛ב עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתָ֖/הּ כְּרֻבִֽים
And he made thereunto foure pillars of Shittim wood, and ouerlaide them with golde: their hookes were of gold: and he cast for them foure sockets of siluer.

וַ/יַּ֣עַשׂ לָ֗/הּ אַרְבָּעָה֙ עַמּוּדֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֔ים וַ/יְצַפֵּ֣/ם זָהָ֔ב וָוֵי/הֶ֖ם זָהָ֑ב וַ/יִּצֹ֣ק לָ/הֶ֔ם אַרְבָּעָ֖ה אַדְנֵי כָֽסֶף
¶ And hee made an hanging for the Tabernacle doore of blew and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linnen, of needle worke,

וַ/יַּ֤עַשׂ מָסָךְ֙ לְ/פֶ֣תַח הָ/אֹ֔הֶל תְּכֵ֧לֶת וְ/אַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְ/תוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְ/שֵׁ֣שׁ מָשְׁזָ֑ר מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה רֹקֵֽם
And the fiue pillars of it with their hooks: and he ouerlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their fiue sockets were of brasse.
