Psalms 54

Saue me, O God, by thy name, and iudge me by thy strength.

GenevaTo him that excelleth on Neginoth. A Psalme of David, to give instruction. When the Ziphims came and said unto Saul, Is not David hid among us? Save mee, O God, by thy Name, and by thy power iudge me.

לַ/מְנַצֵּ֥חַ בִּ/נְגִינֹ֗ת מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְ/דָוִֽד

Heare my prayer, O God; giue eare to the words of my mouth.

GenevaO God, heare my prayer: hearken vnto the wordes of my mouth.

בְּ/ב֣וֹא הַ֭/זִּיפִים וַ/יֹּאמְר֣וּ לְ/שָׁא֑וּל הֲ/לֹ֥א דָ֝וִ֗ד מִסְתַּתֵּ֥ר עִמָּֽ/נוּ

For strangers are risen vp against me, and oppressors seeke after my soule; they haue not set God before them. Selah.

אֱ֭לֹהִים בְּ/שִׁמְ/ךָ֣ הוֹשִׁיעֵ֑/נִי וּ/בִ/גְבוּרָתְ/ךָ֥ תְדִינֵֽ/נִי

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that vphold my soule.

אֱ֭לֹהִים שְׁמַ֣ע תְּפִלָּתִ֑/י הַ֝אֲזִ֗ינָ/ה לְ/אִמְרֵי פִֽ/י

He shall reward euill vnto mine enemies: cut them off in thy trueth.

כִּ֤י זָרִ֨ים קָ֤מוּ עָלַ֗/י וְֽ֭/עָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁ֣וּ נַפְשִׁ֑/י לֹ֤א שָׂ֨מוּ אֱלֹהִ֖ים לְ/נֶגְדָּ֣/ם סֶֽלָה

I will freely sacrifice vnto thee; I will praise thy name (O LORD:) for it is good.

GenevaThen I will sacrifice freely vnto thee: I wil praise thy Name, O Lord, because it is good.

הִנֵּ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים עֹזֵ֣ר לִ֑/י אֲ֝דֹנָ֗/י בְּֽ/סֹמְכֵ֥י נַפְשִֽׁ/י

For hee hath deliuered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seene his desire vpon mine enemies.

GenevaFor he hath deliuered me out of al trouble, and mine eye hath seene my desire vpon mine enemies.

ישוב הָ֭/רַע לְ/שֹׁרְרָ֑/י בַּ֝/אֲמִתְּ/ךָ֗ הַצְמִיתֵֽ/ם
