Psalms 32
A Psalm of David, Maschil.
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiuen, whose sinne is couered.
GenevaA Psalme of David to give instruction. Blessed is he whose wickednes is forgiuen, and whose sinne is couered.
לְ/דָוִ֗ד מַ֫שְׂכִּ֥יל אַשְׁרֵ֥י נְֽשׂוּי פֶּ֗שַׁע כְּס֣וּי חֲטָאָֽה
Blessed is the man vnto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquitie: and in whose spirit there is no guile.
GenevaBlessed is the man, vnto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquitie, and in whose spirite there is no guile.
אַ֥שְֽׁרֵי אָדָ֗ם לֹ֤א יַחְשֹׁ֬ב יְהוָ֣ה ל֣/וֹ עָוֺ֑ן וְ/אֵ֖ין בְּ/רוּח֣/וֹ רְמִיָּה
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old; through my roaring all the day long.
GenevaWhen I helde my tongue, my bones consumed, or when I roared all the day,
כִּֽי הֶ֭חֱרַשְׁתִּי בָּל֣וּ עֲצָמָ֑/י בְּ֝/שַׁאֲגָתִ֗/י כָּל הַ/יּֽוֹם
For day and night thy hand was heauy vpon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

כִּ֤י יוֹמָ֣ם וָ/לַיְלָה֮ תִּכְבַּ֥ד עָלַ֗/י יָ֫דֶ֥/ךָ נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ לְשַׁדִּ֑/י בְּ/חַרְבֹ֖נֵי קַ֣יִץ סֶֽלָה
I acknowledged my sin vnto thee, and mine iniquitie haue I not hid: I said, I will confesse my transgressions vnto the LORD; and thou forgauest the iniquitie of my sinne. Selah.
GenevaThen I acknowledged my sinne vnto thee, neither hid I mine iniquitie: for I thought, I will confesse against my selfe my wickednesse vnto the Lord, and thou forgauest the punishment of my sinne. Selah.
חַטָּאתִ֨/י אוֹדִ֪יעֲ/ךָ֡ וַ/עֲוֺ֘נִ֤/י לֹֽא כִסִּ֗יתִי אָמַ֗רְתִּי אוֹדֶ֤ה עֲלֵ֣י פְ֭שָׁעַ/י לַ/יהוָ֑ה וְ/אַתָּ֨ה נָ֘שָׂ֤אתָ עֲוֺ֖ן חַטָּאתִ֣/י סֶֽלָה
For this shall euery one that is godly pray vnto thee, in a time when thou mayest bee found: surely in the floods of great waters, they shall not come nigh vnto him.
GenevaTherefore shall euery one, that is godly, make his prayer vnto thee in a time, when thou mayest be founde: surely in the flood of great waters they shall not come neere him.
עַל זֹ֡את יִתְפַּלֵּ֬ל כָּל חָסִ֨יד אֵלֶי/ךָ֮ לְ/עֵ֪ת מְ֫צֹ֥א רַ֗ק לְ֭/שֵׁטֶף מַ֣יִם רַבִּ֑ים אֵ֝לָ֗י/ו לֹ֣א יַגִּֽיעוּ
Thou art my hiding place, thou shalt preserue mee from trouble: thou shalt compasse me about with songs of deliuerance. Selah.
GenevaThou art my secret place: thou preseruest me from trouble: thou compassest me about with ioyfull deliuerance. Selah.
אַתָּ֤ה סֵ֥תֶר לִ/י֮ מִ/צַּ֪ר תִּ֫צְּרֵ֥/נִי רָנֵּ֥י פַלֵּ֑ט תְּס֖וֹבְבֵ֣/נִי סֶֽלָה
I will instruct thee, and teach thee in the way which thou shalt goe: I will guide thee with mine eye.
GenevaI will instruct thee, and teache thee in the way that thou shalt goe, and I will guide thee with mine eye.
אַשְׂכִּֽילְ/ךָ֨ וְֽ/אוֹרְ/ךָ֗ בְּ/דֶֽרֶךְ ז֥וּ תֵלֵ֑ךְ אִֽיעֲצָ֖ה עָלֶ֣י/ךָ עֵינִֽ/י
Be yee not as the horse, or as the mule which haue no vnderstanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, least they come neere vnto thee.
GenevaBe ye not like an horse, or like a mule, which vnderstand not: whose mouthes thou doest binde with bit and bridle, least they come neere thee.
אַל תִּֽהְי֤וּ כְּ/ס֥וּס כְּ/פֶרֶד֮ אֵ֤ין הָ֫בִ֥ין בְּ/מֶֽתֶג וָ/רֶ֣סֶן עֶדְי֣/וֹ לִ/בְל֑וֹם בַּ֝֗ל קְרֹ֣ב אֵלֶֽי/ךָ
Many sorrowes shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compasse him about.
GenevaMany sorowes shall come to the wicked: but he, that trusteth in the Lord, mercie shall compasse him.
רַבִּ֥ים מַכְאוֹבִ֗ים לָ/רָ֫שָׁ֥ע וְ/הַ/בּוֹטֵ֥חַ בַּ/יהוָ֑ה חֶ֝֗סֶד יְסוֹבְבֶֽ/נּוּ
Be glad in the LORD, and reioyce yee righteous: and shout for ioy all ye that are vpright in heart.
GenevaBe glad ye righteous, and reioyce in the Lord, and be ioyfull all ye, that are vpright in heart.
שִׂמְח֬וּ בַֽ/יהוָ֣ה וְ֭/גִילוּ צַדִּיקִ֑ים וְ֝/הַרְנִ֗ינוּ כָּל יִשְׁרֵי לֵֽב
