Psalms 19

The heauens declare the glory of God: and the firmament sheweth his handy worke.

לַ/מְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְ/דָוִֽד

Day vnto day vttereth speach, and night vnto night sheweth knowledge.

GenevaDay vnto day vttereth the same, and night vnto night teacheth knowledge.

הַ/שָּׁמַ֗יִם מְֽסַפְּרִ֥ים כְּבֽוֹד אֵ֑ל וּֽ/מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָ֝דָ֗י/ו מַגִּ֥יד הָ/רָקִֽיעַ

There is no speach nor language, where their voyce is not heard.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world: In them hath he set a tabernacle for the Sunne.

אֵֽין אֹ֭מֶר וְ/אֵ֣ין דְּבָרִ֑ים בְּ֝לִ֗י נִשְׁמָ֥ע קוֹלָֽ/ם

Which is as a bridegrome comming out of his chamber, and reioyceth as a strong man to runne a race.

בְּ/כָל הָ/אָ֨רֶץ יָ֘צָ֤א קַוָּ֗/ם וּ/בִ/קְצֵ֣ה תֵ֭בֵל מִלֵּי/הֶ֑ם לַ֝/שֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ שָֽׂם אֹ֥הֶל בָּ/הֶֽם

His going forth is from the end of the heauen, and his circuite vnto the ends of it: and there is nothing hidde from the heat thereof.

GenevaHis going out is from the ende of the heauen, and his compasse is vnto the endes of ye same, and none is hid from the heate thereof.

וְ/ה֗וּא כְּ֭/חָתָן יֹצֵ֣א מֵ/חֻפָּת֑/וֹ יָשִׂ֥ישׂ כְּ֝/גִבּ֗וֹר לָ/ר֥וּץ אֹֽרַח

The Law of the LORD is perfect, conuerting the soule: the testimonie of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

מִ/קְצֵ֤ה הַ/שָּׁמַ֨יִם מֽוֹצָא֗/וֹ וּ/תְקוּפָת֥/וֹ עַל קְצוֹתָ֑/ם וְ/אֵ֥ין נִ֝סְתָּ֗ר מֵֽ/חַמָּת/וֹ

The Statutes of the LORD are right, reioycing the heart: the Commandement of the LORD is pure, inlightning the eyes.

תּ֘וֹרַ֤ת יְהוָ֣ה תְּ֭מִימָה מְשִׁ֣יבַת נָ֑פֶשׁ עֵד֥וּת יְהוָ֥ה נֶ֝אֱמָנָ֗ה מַחְכִּ֥ימַת פֶּֽתִי

The feare of the LORD is cleane, enduring for euer: the Iudgements of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.

פִּקּ֘וּדֵ֤י יְהוָ֣ה יְ֭שָׁרִים מְשַׂמְּחֵי לֵ֑ב מִצְוַ֥ת יְהוָ֥ה בָּ֝רָ֗ה מְאִירַ֥ת עֵינָֽיִם

More to bee desired are they then gold, yea, then much fine gold: sweeter also then hony, and the hony combe.

GenevaAnd more to be desired then golde, yea, then much fine golde: sweeter also then honie and the honie combe.

יִרְאַ֤ת יְהוָ֨ה טְהוֹרָה֮ עוֹמֶ֪דֶת לָ֫/עַ֥ד מִֽשְׁפְּטֵי יְהוָ֥ה אֱמֶ֑ת צָֽדְק֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו

Moreouer by them is thy seruant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

הַֽ/נֶּחֱמָדִ֗ים מִ֭/זָּהָב וּ/מִ/פַּ֣ז רָ֑ב וּ/מְתוּקִ֥ים מִ֝/דְּבַ֗שׁ וְ/נֹ֣פֶת צוּפִֽים

Who can vnderstand his errours? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

גַּֽם עַ֭בְדְּ/ךָ נִזְהָ֣ר בָּ/הֶ֑ם בְּ֝/שָׁמְרָ֗/ם עֵ֣קֶב רָֽב

Keepe back thy seruant also from presumptuous sinnes, let them not haue dominion ouer me: then shall I be vpright, and I shalbe innocent from the great transgression.

שְׁגִיא֥וֹת מִֽי יָבִ֑ין מִֽ/נִּסְתָּר֥וֹת נַקֵּֽ/נִי

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, bee acceptable in thy sight, O LORD my strength, and my redeemer.
