Psalms 112

Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his Commaundements.

הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ אַשְׁרֵי אִ֭ישׁ יָרֵ֣א אֶת יְהוָ֑ה בְּ֝/מִצְוֺתָ֗י/ו חָפֵ֥ץ מְאֹֽד

His seed shall bee mightie vpon earth: the generation of the vpright shalbe blessed.

GenevaHis seede shall be mightie vpon earth: the generation of the righteous shall be blessed.

גִּבּ֣וֹר בָּ֭/אָרֶץ יִהְיֶ֣ה זַרְע֑/וֹ דּ֭וֹר יְשָׁרִ֣ים יְבֹרָֽךְ

Wealth and riches shalbe in his house: and his righteousnesse endureth for euer.

GenevaRiches and treasures shalbe in his house, and his righteousnesse endureth for euer.

הוֹן וָ/עֹ֥שֶׁר בְּ/בֵית֑/וֹ וְ֝/צִדְקָת֗/וֹ עֹמֶ֥דֶת לָ/עַֽד

Unto the vpright there ariseth light in the darknesse: hee is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

GenevaVnto the righteous ariseth light in darkenes: he is merciful and full of copassion and righteous.

זָ֘רַ֤ח בַּ/חֹ֣שֶׁךְ א֭וֹר לַ/יְשָׁרִ֑ים חַנּ֖וּן וְ/רַח֣וּם וְ/צַדִּֽיק

A good man sheweth fauour and lendeth: he will guide his affaires with discretion.

GenevaA good man is mercifull and lendeth, and will measure his affaires by iudgement.

טֽוֹב אִ֭ישׁ חוֹנֵ֣ן וּ/מַלְוֶ֑ה יְכַלְכֵּ֖ל דְּבָרָ֣י/ו בְּ/מִשְׁפָּֽט

Surely he shall not be moued for euer: the righteous shalbe in euerlasting remembrance.

GenevaSurely he shall neuer be moued: but the righteous shalbe had in euerlasting remembrance.

כִּֽי לְ/עוֹלָ֥ם לֹא יִמּ֑וֹט לְ/זֵ֥כֶר ע֝וֹלָ֗ם יִהְיֶ֥ה צַדִּֽיק

He shall not be afraid of euill tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

GenevaHe will not be afraide of euill tidings: for his heart is fixed, and beleeueth in the Lord.

מִ/שְּׁמוּעָ֣ה רָ֭עָה לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א נָכ֥וֹן לִ֝בּ֗/וֹ בָּטֻ֥חַ בַּ/יהוָֽה

His heart is established, hee shall not be afraid, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.

GenevaHis heart is stablished: therefore he will not feare, vntill he see his desire vpon his enemies.

סָמ֣וּךְ לִ֭בּ/וֹ לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א עַ֖ד אֲשֶׁר יִרְאֶ֣ה בְ/צָרָֽי/ו

He hath dispersed, he hath giuen to the poore: his righteousnesse endureth for euer; his horne shalbe exalted with honour.

GenevaHe hath distributed and giuen to ye poore: his righteousnesse remaineth for euer: his horne shalbe exalted with glory.

פִּזַּ֤ר נָ֘תַ֤ן לָ/אֶבְיוֹנִ֗ים צִ֭דְקָת/וֹ עֹמֶ֣דֶת לָ/עַ֑ד קַ֝רְנ֗/וֹ תָּר֥וּם בְּ/כָבֽוֹד

The wicked shall see it, and be grieued; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

GenevaThe wicked shall see it and be angrie: he shall gnash with his teeth, and consume away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

רָ֘שָׁ֤ע יִרְאֶ֨ה וְ/כָעָ֗ס שִׁנָּ֣י/ו יַחֲרֹ֣ק וְ/נָמָ֑ס תַּאֲוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים תֹּאבֵֽד
