Psalms 103

Blesse the LORD, O my soule: and all that is within me, blesse his holy Name.

GenevaA Psalme of David. My soule, prayse thou the Lord, and all that is within me, prayse his holy Name.

לְ/דָוִ֨ד בָּרֲכִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁ/י אֶת יְהוָ֑ה וְ/כָל קְ֝רָבַ֗/י אֶת שֵׁ֥ם קָדְשֽׁ/וֹ

Blesse the LORD, O my soule: & forget not all his benefits.

GenevaMy soule, prayse thou the Lord, and forget not all his benefites.

בָּרֲכִ֣י נַ֭פְשִׁ/י אֶת יְהוָ֑ה וְ/אַל תִּ֝שְׁכְּחִ֗י כָּל גְּמוּלָֽי/ו

Who forgiueth all thine iniquities: who healeth all thy diseases.

GenevaWhich forgiueth all thine iniquitie, and healeth all thine infirmities.

הַ/סֹּלֵ֥חַ לְ/כָל עֲוֺנֵ֑/כִי הָ֝/רֹפֵ֗א לְ/כָל תַּחֲלֻאָֽיְ/כִי

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction: who crowneth thee with louing kindnesse and tender mercies.

GenevaWhich redeemeth thy life from the graue, and crowneth thee with mercy and compassions.

הַ/גּוֹאֵ֣ל מִ/שַּׁ֣חַת חַיָּ֑יְ/כִי הַֽ֝/מְעַטְּרֵ֗/כִי חֶ֣סֶד וְ/רַחֲמִֽים

Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things: so that thy youth is renewed like the Eagles.

GenevaWhich satisfieth thy mouth with good things: and thy youth is renued like the eagles.

הַ/מַּשְׂבִּ֣יַע בַּ/טּ֣וֹב עֶדְיֵ֑/ךְ תִּתְחַדֵּ֖שׁ כַּ/נֶּ֣שֶׁר נְעוּרָֽיְ/כִי

The LORD executeth righteousnesse: and iudgement for all that are oppressed.

GenevaThe Lord executeth righteousnes and iudgement to all that are oppressed.

עֹשֵׂ֣ה צְדָק֣וֹת יְהוָ֑ה וּ֝/מִשְׁפָּטִ֗ים לְ/כָל עֲשׁוּקִֽים

He made knowen his wayes vnto Moses: his actes vnto the children of Israel.

GenevaHe made his wayes knowen vnto Moses, and his workes vnto the children of Israel.

יוֹדִ֣יעַ דְּרָכָ֣י/ו לְ/מֹשֶׁ֑ה לִ/בְנֵ֥י יִ֝שְׂרָאֵ֗ל עֲלִילֽוֹתָי/ו

The LORD is mercifull and gracious: slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

GenevaThe Lord is full of compassion and mercie, slowe to anger and of great kindnesse.

רַח֣וּם וְ/חַנּ֣וּן יְהוָ֑ה אֶ֖רֶךְ אַפַּ֣יִם וְ/רַב חָֽסֶד

Hee will not alwayes chide: neither will he keepe his anger for euer.

GenevaHe will not alway chide, neither keepe his anger for euer.

לֹֽא לָ/נֶ֥צַח יָרִ֑יב וְ/לֹ֖א לְ/עוֹלָ֣ם יִטּֽוֹר

Hee hath not dealt with vs after our sinnes: nor rewarded vs according to our iniquities.

לֹ֣א כַ֭/חֲטָאֵי/נוּ עָ֣שָׂה לָ֑/נוּ וְ/לֹ֥א כַ֝/עֲוֺנֹתֵ֗י/נוּ גָּמַ֥ל עָלֵֽי/נוּ

For as the heauen is high aboue the earth: so great is his mercy toward them that feare him.

GenevaFor as high as the heauen is aboue ye earth, so great is his mercie toward them that feare him.

כִּ֤י כִ/גְבֹ֣הַּ שָׁ֭מַיִם עַל הָ/אָ֑רֶץ גָּבַ֥ר חַ֝סְדּ֗/וֹ עַל יְרֵאָֽי/ו

As farre as the East is from the West: so farre hath hee remooued our transgressions from vs.

GenevaAs farre as the East is from the West: so farre hath he remooued our sinnes from vs.

כִּ/רְחֹ֣ק מִ֭זְרָח מִֽ/מַּֽעֲרָ֑ב הִֽרְחִ֥יק מִ֝מֶּ֗/נּוּ אֶת פְּשָׁעֵֽי/נוּ

Like as a father pitieth his children: so the LORD pitieth them that feare him.

GenevaAs a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that feare him.

כְּ/רַחֵ֣ם אָ֭ב עַל בָּנִ֑ים רִחַ֥ם יְ֝הוָ֗ה עַל יְרֵאָֽי/ו

For he knoweth our frame: hee remembreth that we are dust.

GenevaFor he knoweth whereof we be made: he remembreth that we are but dust.

כִּי ה֖וּא יָדַ֣ע יִצְרֵ֑/נוּ זָ֝כ֗וּר כִּי עָפָ֥ר אֲנָֽחְנוּ

As for man, his dayes are as grasse: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

GenevaThe dayes of man are as grasse: as a flowre of the fielde, so florisheth he.

אֱ֭נוֹשׁ כֶּ/חָצִ֣יר יָמָ֑י/ו כְּ/צִ֥יץ הַ֝/שָּׂדֶ֗ה כֵּ֣ן יָצִֽיץ

For the winde passeth ouer it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

GenevaFor the winde goeth ouer it, and it is gone, and the place thereof shall knowe it no more.

כִּ֤י ר֣וּחַ עָֽבְרָה בּ֣/וֹ וְ/אֵינֶ֑/נּוּ וְ/לֹא יַכִּירֶ֖/נּוּ ע֣וֹד מְקוֹמֽ/וֹ

But the mercy of the LORD is from euerlasting to euerlasting vpon them that feare him: and his righteousnesse vnto childrens children:

GenevaBut the louing kindnesse of the Lord endureth for euer and euer vpon them that feare him, and his righteousnes vpon childrens children,

וְ/חֶ֤סֶד יְהוָ֨ה מֵ/עוֹלָ֣ם וְ/עַד ע֭וֹלָם עַל יְרֵאָ֑י/ו וְ֝/צִדְקָת֗/וֹ לִ/בְנֵ֥י בָנִֽים

To such as keepe his couenant: and to those that remember his commandements to doe them.

GenevaVnto them that keepe his couenant, and thinke vpon his commandements to doe them.

לְ/שֹׁמְרֵ֥י בְרִית֑/וֹ וּ/לְ/זֹכְרֵ֥י פִ֝קֻּדָ֗י/ו לַ/עֲשׂוֹתָֽ/ם

The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heauens: and his kingdome ruleth ouer all.

GenevaThe Lord hath prepared his throne in heauen, and his Kingdome ruleth ouer all.

יְֽהוָ֗ה בַּ֭/שָּׁמַיִם הֵכִ֣ין כִּסְא֑/וֹ וּ֝/מַלְכוּת֗/וֹ בַּ/כֹּ֥ל מָשָֽׁלָה

Blesse the LORD yee his Angels, that excell in strength, that do his commandements: hearkening vnto the voice of his word.

GenevaPrayse the Lord, ye his Angels, that excell in strength, that doe his commandement in obeying the voyce of his worde.

בָּרֲכ֥וּ יְהוָ֗ה מַלְאָ֫כָ֥י/ו גִּבֹּ֣רֵי כֹ֭חַ עֹשֵׂ֣י דְבָר֑/וֹ לִ֝/שְׁמֹ֗עַ בְּ/ק֣וֹל דְּבָרֽ/וֹ

Blesse ye the LORD all yee his hostes: ye ministers of his that doe his pleasure.

GenevaPrayse the Lord, all ye his hostes, ye his seruants that doe his pleasure.

בָּרֲכ֣וּ יְ֭הוָה כָּל צְבָאָ֑י/ו מְ֝שָׁרְתָ֗י/ו עֹשֵׂ֥י רְצוֹנֽ/וֹ

Blesse the LORD all his works in all places of his dominion: blesse the LORD, O my soule.

GenevaPrayse the Lord, all ye his workes, in all places of his dominion: my soule, prayse thou the Lord.

בָּרֲכ֤וּ יְהוָ֨ה כָּֽל מַעֲשָׂ֗י/ו בְּ/כָל מְקֹמ֥וֹת מֶמְשַׁלְתּ֑/וֹ בָּרֲכִ֥י נַ֝פְשִׁ֗/י אֶת יְהוָֽה
