This is the booke of the generations of Adam: In the day that God created man, in the likenes of God made he him.

זֶ֣ה סֵ֔פֶר תּוֹלְדֹ֖ת אָדָ֑ם בְּ/י֗וֹם בְּרֹ֤א אֱלֹהִים֙ אָדָ֔ם בִּ/דְמ֥וּת אֱלֹהִ֖ים עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתֽ/וֹ

Male and female created hee them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

¶ And Adam liued an hundred and thirtie yeeres, and begate a sonne in his owne likenesse, after his image; and called his name Seth.

וַֽ/יְחִ֣י אָדָ֗ם שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים וּ/מְאַת֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בִּ/דְמוּת֖/וֹ כְּ/צַלְמ֑/וֹ וַ/יִּקְרָ֥א אֶת שְׁמ֖/וֹ שֵֽׁת

And the dayes of Adam, after he had begotten Seth, were eight hundred yeeres: and he begate sonnes and daughters.

וַ/יִּֽהְי֣וּ יְמֵי אָדָ֗ם אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣/וֹ אֶת שֵׁ֔ת שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מֵאֹ֖ת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּ/בָנֽוֹת

And all the dayes that Adam liued, were nine hundred and thirtie yeeres: and he died.

וַֽ/יְחִי שֵׁ֕ת חָמֵ֥שׁ שָׁנִ֖ים וּ/מְאַ֣ת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת אֱנֽוֹשׁ

And Seth liued, after he begate Enos, eight hundred and seuen yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

And all the dayes of Seth, were nine hundred and twelue yeeres, and he died.

GenevaSo all the dayes of Sheth were nine hundreth and twelue yeeres: and he died.

וַ/יִּֽהְיוּ֙ כָּל יְמֵי שֵׁ֔ת שְׁתֵּ֤ים עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/תְשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יָּמֹֽת

¶ And Enos liued ninetie yeeres, and begate Cainan.

GenevaAlso Enosh liued ninetie yeeres, and begate Kenan.

וַֽ/יְחִ֥י אֱנ֖וֹשׁ תִּשְׁעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת קֵינָֽן

And Enos liued after hee begate Cainan, eight hundred and fifteene yeeres, and begate sonnes & daughters.

GenevaAnd Enosh liued, after he begate Kenan, eight hundreth and fifteene yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

וַֽ/יְחִ֣י אֱנ֗וֹשׁ אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣/וֹ אֶת קֵינָ֔ן חֲמֵ֤שׁ עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּ/בָנֽוֹת

And all the dayes of Enos were nine hundred & fiue yeres; and he died.

GenevaSo all the dayes of Enosh were nine hundreth and fiue yeeres: and he died

וַ/יִּֽהְיוּ֙ כָּל יְמֵ֣י אֱנ֔וֹשׁ חָמֵ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֔ים וּ/תְשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יָּמֹֽת

¶ And Cainan liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Mahalaleel.

GenevaLikewise Kenan liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Mahalaleel.

וַֽ/יְחִ֥י קֵינָ֖ן שִׁבְעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת מַֽהֲלַלְאֵֽל

And Cainan liued after he begate Mahalaleel, eight hundred and fourtie yeeres, & begate sonnes and daughters.

GenevaAnd Kenan liued, after he begate Mahalaleel, eight hundreth and fourtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

וַ/יְחִ֣י קֵינָ֗ן אַחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣/וֹ אֶת מַֽהֲלַלְאֵ֔ל אַרְבָּעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּ/בָנֽוֹת

And al the dayes of Cainan were nine hundred & ten yeres; and he died.

GenevaSo all the dayes of Kenan were nine hundreth and tenne yeeres: and he died.

וַ/יִּֽהְיוּ֙ כָּל יְמֵ֣י קֵינָ֔ן עֶ֣שֶׂר שָׁנִ֔ים וּ/תְשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יָּמֹֽת

¶ And Mahalaleel liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begat Iared.

GenevaMahalaleel also liued sixtie and fiue yeres, and begate Iered.

וַֽ/יְחִ֣י מַֽהֲלַלְאֵ֔ל חָמֵ֥שׁ שָׁנִ֖ים וְ/שִׁשִּׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת יָֽרֶד

And Mahalaleel liued after he begate Iared, eight hundred and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes & daughters.

GenevaAlso Mahalaleel liued, after he begate Iered, eight hundreth and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

וַֽ/יְחִ֣י מַֽהֲלַלְאֵ֗ל אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣/וֹ אֶת יֶ֔רֶד שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּ/בָנֽוֹת

And all the dayes of Mahalaleel, were eight hundred ninetie and fiue yeeres, and he died.

וַ/יִּהְיוּ֙ כָּל יְמֵ֣י מַהֲלַלְאֵ֔ל חָמֵ֤שׁ וְ/תִשְׁעִים֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יָּמֹֽת

¶ And Iared liued an hundred sixtie and two yeeres, & he begat Enoch.

GenevaAnd Iered liued an hundreth sixtie and two yeeres, and begate Henoch.

וַֽ/יְחִי יֶ֕רֶד שְׁתַּ֧יִם וְ/שִׁשִּׁ֛ים שָׁנָ֖ה וּ/מְאַ֣ת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת חֲנֽוֹךְ

And Iared liued after he begate Enoch, eight hundred yeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

GenevaThen Iered liued, after he begate Henoch, eight hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

וַֽ/יְחִי יֶ֗רֶד אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣/וֹ אֶת חֲנ֔וֹךְ שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּ/בָנֽוֹת

And all the dayes of Iared were nine hundred sixtie and two yeeres, and he died.

וַ/יִּֽהְיוּ֙ כָּל יְמֵי יֶ֔רֶד שְׁתַּ֤יִם וְ/שִׁשִּׁים֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/תְשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יָּמֹֽת

¶ And Enoch liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begate Methuselah.

GenevaAlso Henoch liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begate Methushelah.

וַֽ/יְחִ֣י חֲנ֔וֹךְ חָמֵ֥שׁ וְ/שִׁשִּׁ֖ים שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת מְתוּשָֽׁלַח

And Enoch walked with God, after he begate Methuselah, three hundred yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

GenevaAnd Henoch walked with God, after he begate Methushelah, three hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

וַ/יִּתְהַלֵּ֨ךְ חֲנ֜וֹךְ אֶת הָֽ/אֱלֹהִ֗ים אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣/וֹ אֶת מְתוּשֶׁ֔לַח שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּ/בָנֽוֹת

And all the dayes of Enoch, were three hundred sixtie and fiue yeeres.

GenevaSo all the dayes of Henoch were three hundreth sixtie and fiue yeeres.

וַ/יְהִ֖י כָּל יְמֵ֣י חֲנ֑וֹךְ חָמֵ֤שׁ וְ/שִׁשִּׁים֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָֽה

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God tooke him.

GenevaAnd Henoch walked with God, and he was no more seene: for God tooke him away.

וַ/יִּתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ חֲנ֖וֹךְ אֶת הָֽ/אֱלֹהִ֑ים וְ/אֵינֶ֕/נּוּ כִּֽי לָקַ֥ח אֹת֖/וֹ אֱלֹהִֽים

And Methuselah liued an hundred eightie and seuen yeeres, and begat Lamech.

GenevaMethushelah also liued an hundreth eightie and seuen yeeres, and begate Lamech.

וַ/יְחִ֣י מְתוּשֶׁ֔לַח שֶׁ֧בַע וּ/שְׁמֹנִ֛ים שָׁנָ֖ה וּ/מְאַ֣ת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֖וֹלֶד אֶת לָֽמֶךְ

And Methuselah liued, after hee begate Lamech, seuen hundred, eightie and two yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

GenevaAnd Methushelah liued, after he begate Lamech, seuen hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

וַֽ/יְחִ֣י מְתוּשֶׁ֗לַח אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣/וֹ אֶת לֶ֔מֶךְ שְׁתַּ֤יִם וּ/שְׁמוֹנִים֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/שְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּ/בָנֽוֹת

And all the dayes of Methuselah were nine hundred, sixtie and nine yeeres, and he died.

וַ/יִּהְיוּ֙ כָּל יְמֵ֣י מְתוּשֶׁ֔לַח תֵּ֤שַׁע וְ/שִׁשִּׁים֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/תְשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יָּמֹֽת

¶ And Lamech liued an hundred eightie and two yeeres: and begate a sonne.

GenevaThen Lamech liued an hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate a sonne,

וַֽ/יְחִי לֶ֕מֶךְ שְׁתַּ֧יִם וּ/שְׁמֹנִ֛ים שָׁנָ֖ה וּ/מְאַ֣ת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֖וֹלֶד בֵּֽן

And he called his name Noah, saying; This same shall comfort vs, concerning our woorke and toyle of our hands, because of the ground, which the LORD hath cursed.

GenevaAnd called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort vs concerning our worke and sorowe of our hands, as touching the earth, which the Lord hath cursed.

וַ/יִּקְרָ֧א אֶת שְׁמ֛/וֹ נֹ֖חַ לֵ/אמֹ֑ר זֶ֞֠ה יְנַחֲמֵ֤/נוּ מִֽ/מַּעֲשֵׂ֨/נוּ֙ וּ/מֵ/עִצְּב֣וֹן יָדֵ֔י/נוּ מִן הָ֣/אֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵֽרְרָ֖/הּ יְהוָֽה

And Lamech liued, after hee begate Noah, fiue hundred ninetie and fiue yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.

וַֽ/יְחִי לֶ֗מֶךְ אַֽחֲרֵי֙ הוֹלִיד֣/וֹ אֶת נֹ֔חַ חָמֵ֤שׁ וְ/תִשְׁעִים֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וַ/חֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵאֹ֖ת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֥וֹלֶד בָּנִ֖ים וּ/בָנֽוֹת

And all the dayes of Lamech were seuen hundred seuentie and seuen yeeres, and he died.

GenevaSo all the dayes of Lamech were seuen hundreth seuentie and seuen yeeres: and he died.

וַֽ/יְהִי֙ כָּל יְמֵי לֶ֔מֶךְ שֶׁ֤בַע וְ/שִׁבְעִים֙ שָׁנָ֔ה וּ/שְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יָּמֹֽת

And Noah was fiue hundred yeeres olde: and Noah begate Sem, Ham, and Iapheth.

GenevaAnd Noah was fiue hundreth yeere olde. And Noah begate Shem, Ham and Iapheth.

וַֽ/יְהִי נֹ֕חַ בֶּן חֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וַ/יּ֣וֹלֶד נֹ֔חַ אֶת שֵׁ֖ם אֶת חָ֥ם וְ/אֶת יָֽפֶת
