Chapter 47
Ezekiel 47
Afterward hee brought me againe vnto the doore of the house, and behold, waters issued out from vnder the threshold of the house Eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the East, and the waters came downe from vnder from the right side of the house, at the South side of the Altar.

וַ/יְשִׁבֵ/נִי֮ אֶל פֶּ֣תַח הַ/בַּיִת֒ וְ/הִנֵּה מַ֣יִם יֹצְאִ֗ים מִ/תַּ֨חַת מִפְתַּ֤ן הַ/בַּ֨יִת֙ קָדִ֔ימָ/ה כִּֽי פְנֵ֥י הַ/בַּ֖יִת קָדִ֑ים וְ/הַ/מַּ֣יִם יֹרְדִ֗ים מִ/תַּ֜חַת מִ/כֶּ֤תֶף הַ/בַּ֨יִת֙ הַ/יְמָנִ֔ית מִ/נֶּ֖גֶב לַ/מִּזְבֵּֽחַ
Then brought hee me out of the way of the gate Northward, and ledde me about the way without vnto the vtter gate by the way that looketh Eastward, and behold, there ranne out waters on the right side.
GenevaThen brought he me out toward the North gate, and led me about by the way without vnto the vtter gate, by the way that turneth Eastward: and behold, there came forth waters on ye right side
וַ/יּוֹצִאֵ/נִי֮ דֶּֽרֶךְ שַׁ֣עַר צָפוֹנָ/ה֒ וַ/יְסִבֵּ֨/נִי֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ ח֔וּץ אֶל שַׁ֣עַר הַ/ח֔וּץ דֶּ֖רֶךְ הַ/פּוֹנֶ֣ה קָדִ֑ים וְ/הִנֵּה מַ֣יִם מְפַכִּ֔ים מִן הַ/כָּתֵ֖ף הַ/יְמָנִֽית
And when the man that had the line in his hand, went forth Eastward, he measured a thousand cubites, and he brought me through the waters: the waters were to the ancles.

בְּ/צֵאת הָ/אִ֥ישׁ קָדִ֖ים וְ/קָ֣ו בְּ/יָד֑/וֹ וַ/יָּ֤מָד אֶ֨לֶף֙ בָּֽ/אַמָּ֔ה וַ/יַּעֲבִרֵ֥/נִי בַ/מַּ֖יִם מֵ֥י אָפְסָֽיִם
Againe he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees: againe he measured a thousand, and brought mee through; the waters were to the loynes.

וַ/יָּ֣מָד אֶ֔לֶף וַ/יַּעֲבִרֵ֥/נִי בַ/מַּ֖יִם מַ֣יִם בִּרְכָּ֑יִם וַ/יָּ֣מָד אֶ֔לֶף וַ/יַּעֲבִרֵ֖/נִי מֵ֥י מָתְנָֽיִם
Afterward hee measured a thousand, and it was a riuer, that I could not passe ouer: for the waters were risen, waters to swimme in, a riuer that could not be passed ouer.

וַ/יָּ֣מָד אֶ֔לֶף נַ֕חַל אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא אוּכַ֖ל לַ/עֲבֹ֑ר כִּֽי גָא֤וּ הַ/מַּ֨יִם֙ מֵ֣י שָׂ֔חוּ נַ֖חַל אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא יֵעָבֵֽר
¶ And hee said vnto me, Sonne of man, hast thou seene this? Then hee brought me, and caused me to returne to the brinke of the riuer.

Now when I had returned, behold, at the banke of the riuer were very many trees on the one side and on the other.
GenevaNowe when I returned, beholde, at the brinke of the riuer were very many trees on the one side, and on the other.
בְּ/שׁוּבֵ֕/נִי וְ/הִנֵּה֙ אֶל שְׂפַ֣ת הַ/נַּ֔חַל עֵ֖ץ רַ֣ב מְאֹ֑ד מִ/זֶּ֖ה וּ/מִ/זֶּֽה
Then said he vnto me, These waters issue out toward the East country, and go downe into the desert, and goe into the sea: which being brought foorth into the sea, the waters shalbe healed.
GenevaThen saide he vnto me, These waters issue out towarde the East countrey, and runne downe into the plaine, and shall goe into one sea: they shall runne into another sea, and the waters shalbe wholesome.
וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗/י הַ/מַּ֤יִם הָ/אֵ֨לֶּה֙ יוֹצְאִ֗ים אֶל הַ/גְּלִילָה֙ הַ/קַּדְמוֹנָ֔ה וְ/יָרְד֖וּ עַל הָֽ/עֲרָבָ֑ה וּ/בָ֣אוּ הַ/יָּ֔מָּ/ה אֶל הַ/יָּ֥מָּ/ה הַ/מּֽוּצָאִ֖ים ו/נרפאו הַ/מָּֽיִם
And it shall come to passe, that euery thing that liueth, which mooueth, whithersoeuer the riuers shall come, shall liue, and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed, and euery thing shall liue whither the riuer commeth.

וְ/הָיָ֣ה כָל נֶ֣פֶשׁ חַיָּ֣ה אֲֽשֶׁר יִשְׁרֹ֡ץ אֶ֣ל כָּל אֲשֶׁר֩ יָב֨וֹא שָׁ֤ם נַחֲלַ֨יִם֙ יִֽחְיֶ֔ה וְ/הָיָ֥ה הַ/דָּגָ֖ה רַבָּ֣ה מְאֹ֑ד כִּי֩ בָ֨אוּ שָׁ֜מָּ/ה הַ/מַּ֣יִם הָ/אֵ֗לֶּה וְ/יֵרָֽפְאוּ֙ וָ/חָ֔י כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר יָ֥בוֹא שָׁ֖מָּ/ה הַ/נָּֽחַל
And it shall come to passe that the fishers shall stand vpon it, from Engedi euen vnto En-eglaim; they shall be a place to spread foorth nets, their fish shall bee according to their kindes, as the fish of the great Sea, exceeding many.
GenevaAnd then the fishers shall stand vpon it, and from En-gedi euen vnto En-eglaim, they shall spread out their nettes: for their fish shalbe according to their kindes, as the fishe of the maine sea, exceeding many.
וְ/הָיָה֩ יעמדו עָלָ֜י/ו דַּוָּגִ֗ים מֵ/עֵ֥ין גֶּ֨דִי֙ וְ/עַד עֵ֣ין עֶגְלַ֔יִם מִשְׁט֥וֹחַ לַֽ/חֲרָמִ֖ים יִהְי֑וּ לְ/מִינָ/ה֙ תִּהְיֶ֣ה דְגָתָ֔/ם כִּ/דְגַ֛ת הַ/יָּ֥ם הַ/גָּד֖וֹל רַבָּ֥ה מְאֹֽד
But the myrie places thereof, and the marishes thereof, shall not be healed, they shall be giuen to salt.
GenevaBut the myrie places thereof, and the marises thereof shall not be wholesome: they shalbe made salt pittes.
בצאת/ו וּ/גְבָאָ֛י/ו וְ/לֹ֥א יֵרָפְא֖וּ לְ/מֶ֥לַח נִתָּֽנוּ
And by the riuer vpon the banke thereof on this side, and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leafe shal not fade, neither shal the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit, according to his moneths, because their waters they issued out of the Sanctuarie, and the fruite thereof shall be for meate, and the leafe thereof for medicine.
GenevaAnd by this riuer vpon the brinke thereof, on this side, and on that side shall grow all fruitful trees, whose leafe shall not fade, neither shall ye fruit thereof faile: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his moneths, because their waters run out of ye Sanctuarie: and the fruite thereof shalbe meat, and the leafe thereof shalbe for medicine.
וְ/עַל הַ/נַּ֣חַל יַעֲלֶ֣ה עַל שְׂפָת֣/וֹ מִ/זֶּ֣ה וּ/מִ/זֶּ֣ה כָּל עֵֽץ מַ֠אֲכָל לֹא יִבּ֨וֹל עָלֵ֜/הוּ וְ/לֹֽא יִתֹּ֣ם פִּרְי֗/וֹ לָֽ/חֳדָשָׁי/ו֙ יְבַכֵּ֔ר כִּ֣י מֵימָ֔י/ו מִן הַ/מִּקְדָּ֖שׁ הֵ֣מָּה יֽוֹצְאִ֑ים ו/היו פִרְי/וֹ֙ לְ/מַֽאֲכָ֔ל וְ/עָלֵ֖/הוּ לִ/תְרוּפָֽה
¶ Thus sayth the Lord GOD, This shall be the border, whereby yee shall inherite the land, according to the twelue tribes of Israel: Ioseph shall haue two portions.

כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣/י יְהוִ֔ה גֵּ֤ה גְבוּל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּתְנַחֲל֣וּ אֶת הָ/אָ֔רֶץ לִ/שְׁנֵ֥י עָשָׂ֖ר שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל יוֹסֵ֖ף חֲבָלִֽים
And yee shall inherite it, one as well as an other: concerning the which I lifted vp mine hand to giue it vnto your fathers, and this land shal fall vnto you for inheritance.

וּ/נְחַלְתֶּ֤ם אוֹתָ/הּ֙ אִ֣ישׁ כְּ/אָחִ֔י/ו אֲשֶׁ֤ר נָשָׂ֨אתִי֙ אֶת יָדִ֔/י לְ/תִתָּ֖/הּ לַ/אֲבֹֽתֵי/כֶ֑ם וְ/נָ֨פְלָ֜ה הָ/אָ֧רֶץ הַ/זֹּ֛את לָ/כֶ֖ם בְּ/נַחֲלָֽה
And this shall be the border of the land toward the North side from the great Sea, the way of Hethlon, as men goe to Zedad:
GenevaAnd this shall be the border of the lande towarde the North side, from the maine sea toworde Hethlon as men goe to Zedadah:
וְ/זֶ֖ה גְּב֣וּל הָ/אָ֑רֶץ לִ/פְאַ֨ת צָפ֜וֹנָ/ה מִן הַ/יָּ֧ם הַ/גָּד֛וֹל הַ/דֶּ֥רֶךְ חֶתְלֹ֖ן לְב֥וֹא צְדָֽדָ/ה
Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is betweene the border of Damascus, and the border of Hamath: Hazar Hatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran.

חֲמָ֤ת בֵּר֨וֹתָה֙ סִבְרַ֔יִם אֲשֶׁר֙ בֵּין גְּב֣וּל דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וּ/בֵ֖ין גְּב֣וּל חֲמָ֑ת חָצֵר֙ הַתִּיכ֔וֹן אֲשֶׁ֖ר אֶל גְּב֥וּל חַוְרָֽן
And the border from the Sea shall be Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and the North northward, and the border of Hamath: and this is the North side.
GenevaAnd the border from the sea shalbe Hazar, Enan, and the border of Damascus, and the residue of the North, Northwarde, and the border of Hamath: so shalbe the North part.
וְ/הָיָ֨ה גְב֜וּל מִן הַ/יָּ֗ם חֲצַ֤ר עֵינוֹן֙ גְּב֣וּל דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק וְ/צָפ֥וֹן צָפ֖וֹנָ/ה וּ/גְב֣וּל חֲמָ֑ת וְ/אֵ֖ת פְּאַ֥ת צָפֽוֹן
And the East side yee shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Iordan, from the border vnto the East sea: & this is the East side.

וּ/פְאַ֣ת קָדִ֡ים מִ/בֵּ֣ין חַוְרָ֣ן וּ/מִ/בֵּין דַּמֶּשֶׂק֩ וּ/מִ/בֵּ֨ין הַ/גִּלְעָ֜ד וּ/מִ/בֵּ֨ין אֶ֤רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ הַ/יַּרְדֵּ֔ן מִ/גְּב֛וּל עַל הַ/יָּ֥ם הַ/קַּדְמוֹנִ֖י תָּמֹ֑דּוּ וְ/אֵ֖ת פְּאַ֥ת קָדִֽימָ/ה
And the South side Southward from Tamar, euen to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the riuer, to the great Sea; and this is the South side Southward.
GenevaAnd the Southside shalbe towarde Teman from Tamar to the waters of Meriboth in Kadesh, and the riuer to the maine sea: so shalbe the South part towarde Teman.
וּ/פְאַת֙ נֶ֣גֶב תֵּימָ֔נָ/ה מִ/תָּמָ֗ר עַד מֵי֙ מְרִיב֣וֹת קָדֵ֔שׁ נַחֲלָ֖ה אֶל הַ/יָּ֣ם הַ/גָּד֑וֹל וְ/אֵ֥ת פְּאַת תֵּימָ֖נָ/ה נֶֽגְבָּ/ה
The West side also shall be the great Sea from the border, till a man come ouer against Hamath: this is the West side.
GenevaThe West parte also shalbe the great sea from the border, till a man come ouer against Hamath: this shalbe the West part.
וּ/פְאַת יָם֙ הַ/יָּ֣ם הַ/גָּד֔וֹל מִ/גְּב֕וּל עַד נֹ֖כַח לְב֣וֹא חֲמָ֑ת זֹ֖את פְּאַת יָֽם
So shall yee diuide this land vnto you according to the Tribes of Israel.
GenevaSo shall ye deuide this lande vnto you, according to the tribes of Israel.
וְ/חִלַּקְתֶּ֞ם אֶת הָ/אָ֧רֶץ הַ/זֹּ֛את לָ/כֶ֖ם לְ/שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
¶ And it shall come to passe, that yee shall diuide it by lot for an inheritance vnto you, and to the strangers that soiourne among you, which shall beget children among you, and they shall be vnto you as borne in the countrey among the children of Israel; they shall haue inheritance with you among the Tribes of Israel.
GenevaAnd you shall deuide it by lot for an inheritance vnto you, and to the strangers that dwell among you, which shall beget children among you, and they shall be vnto you, as borne in the countrey among the children of Israel, they shall part inheritance with you in the middes of the tribes of Israel.
וְ/הָיָ֗ה תַּפִּ֣לוּ אוֹתָ/הּ֮ בְּ/נַחֲלָה֒ לָ/כֶ֗ם וּ/לְ/הַ/גֵּרִים֙ הַ/גָּרִ֣ים בְּ/תוֹכְ/כֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁר הוֹלִ֥דוּ בָנִ֖ים בְּ/תֽוֹכְ/כֶ֑ם וְ/הָי֣וּ לָ/כֶ֗ם כְּ/אֶזְרָח֙ בִּ/בְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אִתְּ/כֶם֙ יִפְּל֣וּ בְ/נַחֲלָ֔ה בְּ/ת֖וֹךְ שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
And it shall come to passe that in what Tribe the stranger soiourneth, there shall yee giue him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.
GenevaAnd in what tribe the stranger dwelleth, there shall ye giue him his inheritance, saith the Lord God.
וְ/הָיָ֣ה בַ/שֵּׁ֔בֶט אֲשֶׁר גָּ֥ר הַ/גֵּ֖ר אִתּ֑/וֹ שָׁ֚ם תִּתְּנ֣וּ נַחֲלָת֔/וֹ נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥/י יְהוִֽה
