And the LORD spake vnto Moses, Goe vnto Pharaoh, and say vnto him; Thus sayeth the LORD, Let my people goe, that they may serue me.
GenevaAfterward the Lord sayde vnto Moses, Goe vnto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the Lord, Let my people goe, that they may serue me:
וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָה֮ אֶל מֹשֶׁה֒ אֱמֹ֣ר אֶֽל אַהֲרֹ֗ן נְטֵ֤ה אֶת יָדְ/ךָ֙ בְּ/מַטֶּ֔/ךָ עַל הַ֨/נְּהָרֹ֔ת עַל הַ/יְאֹרִ֖ים וְ/עַל הָ/אֲגַמִּ֑ים וְ/הַ֥עַל אֶת הַֽ/צְפַרְדְּעִ֖ים עַל אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם
And if thou refuse to let them goe, beholde, I will smite all thy borders with frogges.

And the riuer shall bring foorth frogges abundantly, which shall goe vp and come into thine house, and into thy bed-chamber, and vpon thy bed, and into the house of thy seruants, and vpon thy people, and into thine ouens, and into thy kneading troughes.

And the frogges shall come vp both on thee, and vpon thy people, and vpon all thy seruants.

¶ And the LORD spake vnto Moses; Say vnto Aaron, Stretch foorth thine hand with thy rodde ouer the streames, ouer the riuers, and ouer the ponds, and cause frogges to come vp vpon the land of Egypt.

And Aaron stretched out his hand ouer the waters of Egypt, and the frogges came vp, and couered the land of Egypt.

¶ Then Pharaoh called for Moses, and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that hee may take away the frogges from me, and from my people: and I will let the people goe, that they may doe sacrifice vnto the LORD.
GenevaThen Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Pray ye vnto the Lord, that hee may take away the frogges from mee, and from my people, and I will let the people goe, that they may doe sacrifice vnto the Lord.

And Moses saide vnto Pharaoh, Glory ouer mee: when shall I entreat for thee, and for thy seruants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogges from thee, and thy houses, that they may remaine in the riuer onely?
GenevaAnd Moses said vnto Pharaoh, Concerning me, euen command when I shall pray for thee, and for thy seruants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogges from thee and from thine houses, that they may remaine in the riuer only.
וַ/יַּ֥עַשׂ יְהוָ֖ה כִּ/דְבַ֣ר מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַ/יָּמֻ֨תוּ֙ הַֽ/צְפַרְדְּעִ֔ים מִן הַ/בָּתִּ֥ים מִן הַ/חֲצֵרֹ֖ת וּ/מִן הַ/שָּׂדֹֽת
And he said, To morrow. And hee said, Bee it according to thy word: That thou mayest know that there is none like vnto the LORD our God.
GenevaThen he said, To morowe. And he answered, Be it as thou hast said, that thou maiest know, that there is none like vnto the Lord our God.
וַ/יִּצְבְּר֥וּ אֹתָ֖/ם חֳמָרִ֣ם חֳמָרִ֑ם וַ/תִּבְאַ֖שׁ הָ/אָֽרֶץ
And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy seruants, and from thy people; they shall remaine in the riuer onely.
GenevaSo the frogges shall depart from thee, and from thine houses, and from thy seruantes, and from thy people: onely they shall remaine in the riuer.
וַ/יַּ֣רְא פַּרְעֹ֗ה כִּ֤י הָֽיְתָה֙ הָֽ/רְוָחָ֔ה וְ/הַכְבֵּד֙ אֶת לִבּ֔/וֹ וְ/לֹ֥א שָׁמַ֖ע אֲלֵ/הֶ֑ם כַּ/אֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה
And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh, and Moses cried vnto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

And the LORD did according to the word of Moses: and the frogges died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.
GenevaAnd the Lord did according to the saying of Moses: so the frogges died in the houses, in the townes, and in the fieldes.
וַ/יַּֽעֲשׂוּ כֵ֗ן וַ/יֵּט֩ אַהֲרֹ֨ן אֶת יָד֤/וֹ בְ/מַטֵּ֨/הוּ֙ וַ/יַּךְ֙ אֶת עֲפַ֣ר הָ/אָ֔רֶץ וַ/תְּהִי֙ הַ/כִּנָּ֔ם בָּ/אָדָ֖ם וּ/בַ/בְּהֵמָ֑ה כָּל עֲפַ֥ר הָ/אָ֛רֶץ הָיָ֥ה כִנִּ֖ים בְּ/כָל אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם
And they gathered them together vpon heapes, and the land stanke.
GenevaAnd they gathered the together by heaps, and the land stanke of them.
וַ/יַּעֲשׂוּ כֵ֨ן הַ/חַרְטֻמִּ֧ים בְּ/לָטֵי/הֶ֛ם לְ/הוֹצִ֥יא אֶת הַ/כִּנִּ֖ים וְ/לֹ֣א יָכֹ֑לוּ וַ/תְּהִי֙ הַ/כִּנָּ֔ם בָּ/אָדָ֖ם וּ/בַ/בְּהֵמָֽה
But when Pharaoh saw that there was respit, he hardned his heart, and hearkened not vnto them, as the LORD had said.

¶ And the LORD saide vnto Moses, Say vnto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice, thorowout all the land of Egypt.
GenevaAgaine the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Say vnto Aaron, Stretche out the rod, and smite the dust of the earth, that it may bee turned to lyce throughout all the land of Egypt.

And they did so: for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice, in man and in beast: all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

And the Magicians did so with their enchantments to bring foorth lice, but they could not: so there were lice vpon man and vpon beast.
GenevaNowe the enchanters assaied likewise with their enchantments to bring forth lyce, but they could not. So the lyce were vpon man and vpon beast.
וְ/הִפְלֵיתִי֩ בַ/יּ֨וֹם הַ/ה֜וּא אֶת אֶ֣רֶץ גֹּ֗שֶׁן אֲשֶׁ֤ר עַמִּ/י֙ עֹמֵ֣ד עָלֶ֔י/הָ לְ/בִלְתִּ֥י הֱיֽוֹת שָׁ֖ם עָרֹ֑ב לְמַ֣עַן תֵּדַ֔ע כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה בְּ/קֶ֥רֶב הָ/אָֽרֶץ
Then the Magicians said vnto Pharaoh; This is the singer of God. And Pharaohs heart was hardned, and he hearkened not vnto them, as the LORD had said.
GenevaThen saide the enchanters vnto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God. But Pharaohs heart remained obstinate, and hee hearkened not vnto them, as the Lord had said.
וְ/שַׂמְתִּ֣י פְדֻ֔ת בֵּ֥ין עַמִּ֖/י וּ/בֵ֣ין עַמֶּ֑/ךָ לְ/מָחָ֥ר יִהְיֶ֖ה הָ/אֹ֥ת הַ/זֶּֽה
¶ And the LORD saide vnto Moses, Rise vp early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh: loe, he commeth foorth to the water, and say vnto him; Thus saith the LORD, Let my people goe, that they may serue me.

And I will seuer in that day the lande of Goshen in which my people dwell, that no swarmes of flies shall be there, to the end thou maiest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.
GenevaBut ye land of Goshe, where my people are, wil I cause to be wonderfull in that day, so that no swarmes of flies shalbe there, that thou maiest know that I am the Lord in the middes of the earth.
וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֗ה לֹ֤א נָכוֹן֙ לַ/עֲשׂ֣וֹת כֵּ֔ן כִּ֚י תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת מִצְרַ֔יִם נִזְבַּ֖ח לַ/יהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑י/נוּ הֵ֣ן נִזְבַּ֞ח אֶת תּוֹעֲבַ֥ת מִצְרַ֛יִם לְ/עֵינֵי/הֶ֖ם וְ/לֹ֥א יִסְקְלֻֽ/נוּ
And I will put a diuision betweene my people and thy people: to morrow shall this signe be.

דֶּ֚רֶךְ שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֔ים נֵלֵ֖ךְ בַּ/מִּדְבָּ֑ר וְ/זָבַ֨חְנוּ֙ לַֽ/יהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֔י/נוּ כַּ/אֲשֶׁ֖ר יֹאמַ֥ר אֵלֵֽי/נוּ
And the LORD did so: and there came a grieuous swarme of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his seruants houses, and into all the lande of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarme of flies.
GenevaAnd the Lord did so: for there came great swarmes of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his seruants houses, so that through all the lande of Egypt, the earth was corrupt by the swarmes of flies.
וַ/יֹּ֣אמֶר פַּרְעֹ֗ה אָנֹכִ֞י אֲשַׁלַּ֤ח אֶתְ/כֶם֙ וּ/זְבַחְתֶּ֞ם לַ/יהוָ֤ה אֱלֹֽהֵי/כֶם֙ בַּ/מִּדְבָּ֔ר רַ֛ק הַרְחֵ֥ק לֹא תַרְחִ֖יקוּ לָ/לֶ֑כֶת הַעְתִּ֖ירוּ בַּעֲדִֽ/י
¶ And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Goe yee, sacrifice to your God in the land.
GenevaThen Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and saide, Goe, doe sacrifice vnto your God in this lande.

And Moses said, It is not meete so to doe; for we shal sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians, to the LORD our God: Loe, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone vs?
GenevaBut Moses answered, It is not meete to do so: for then we shoulde offer vnto the Lord our God that, which is an abomination vnto the Egyptians. Loe, can we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and they not stone vs?
וַ/יֵּצֵ֥א מֹשֶׁ֖ה מֵ/עִ֣ם פַּרְעֹ֑ה וַ/יֶּעְתַּ֖ר אֶל יְהוָֽה
We will goe three dayes iourney into the wildernesse, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command vs.

And Pharaoh said, I wil let you goe that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God, in the wildernes: onely you shall not goe very farre away: intreate for me.
GenevaAnd Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice vnto the Lord your God in the wildernesse: but goe not farre away, pray for me.
וַ/יַּכְבֵּ֤ד פַּרְעֹה֙ אֶת לִבּ֔/וֹ גַּ֖ם בַּ/פַּ֣עַם הַ/זֹּ֑את וְ/לֹ֥א שִׁלַּ֖ח אֶת הָ/עָֽם
And Moses said, Behold, I goe out from thee, and I will intreate the LORD that the swarmes of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his seruants, and from his people to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deale deceitfully any more, in not letting the people goe to sacrifice to the LORD.
GenevaAnd Moses said, Behold, I will go out from thee, and pray vnto the Lord, that the swarmes of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his seruants, and from his people to morowe: but let Pharaoh from hencefoorth deceiue no more, in not suffering the people to sacrifice vnto the Lord.
