Chapter 25
Exodus 25
And the LORD spake vnto Moses, saying,
GenevaThen the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,
וַ/יְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּ/אמֹֽר
Speake vnto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of euery man that giueth it willingly with his heart, ye shall take my offering.
GenevaSpeake vnto the children of Israel, that they receiue an offring for me: of euery man, whose heart giueth it freely, ye shall take the offring for me.
דַּבֵּר֙ אֶל בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְ/יִקְחוּ לִ֖/י תְּרוּמָ֑ה מֵ/אֵ֤ת כָּל אִישׁ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִדְּבֶ֣/נּוּ לִבּ֔/וֹ תִּקְח֖וּ אֶת תְּרוּמָתִֽ/י
And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; Gold, and siluer, and brasse,
GenevaAnd this is the offring which ye shall take of them, golde, and siluer, and brasse,
וְ/זֹאת֙ הַ/תְּרוּמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּקְח֖וּ מֵ/אִתָּ֑/ם זָהָ֥ב וָ/כֶ֖סֶף וּ/נְחֹֽשֶׁת
And blew, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linnen, and goats haire:
GenevaAnd blewe silke, and purple, and skarlet, and fine linnen, and goates heare,
וּ/תְכֵ֧לֶת וְ/אַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְ/תוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְ/שֵׁ֥שׁ וְ/עִזִּֽים
And rammes skinnes died red, and badgers skinnes, and Shittim wood:
GenevaAnd rammes skinnes coloured red, and the skinnes of badgers, and the wood Shittim,
וְ/עֹרֹ֨ת אֵילִ֧ם מְאָדָּמִ֛ים וְ/עֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים וַ/עֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּֽים
Oile for the light, spices for anointing oile, and for sweet incense:
GenevaOyle for the light, spices for anoynting oyle, and for the perfume of sweete sauour,
שֶׁ֖מֶן לַ/מָּאֹ֑ר בְּשָׂמִים֙ לְ/שֶׁ֣מֶן הַ/מִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְ/לִ/קְטֹ֖רֶת הַ/סַּמִּֽים
Onix stones, and stones to be set in the Ephod, and in the brest plate.
GenevaOnix stones, and stones to be set in the Ephod, and in the brest plate.
אַבְנֵי שֹׁ֕הַם וְ/אַבְנֵ֖י מִלֻּאִ֑ים לָ/אֵפֹ֖ד וְ/לַ/חֹֽשֶׁן
And let them make mee a Sanctuary, that I may dwell amongst them:
GenevaAlso they shall make me a Sanctuarie, that I may dwell among them.
וְ/עָ֥שׂוּ לִ֖/י מִקְדָּ֑שׁ וְ/שָׁכַנְתִּ֖י בְּ/תוֹכָֽ/ם
According to all that I shew thee, after the patterne of the Tabernacle, and the patterne of all the instruments thereof, euen so shall ye make it.
GenevaAccording to all that I shewe thee, euen so shall ye make the forme of the Tabernacle, and the facion of all the instruments thereof.
כְּ/כֹ֗ל אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֲנִי֙ מַרְאֶ֣ה אוֹתְ/ךָ֔ אֵ֚ת תַּבְנִ֣ית הַ/מִּשְׁכָּ֔ן וְ/אֵ֖ת תַּבְנִ֣ית כָּל כֵּלָ֑י/ו וְ/כֵ֖ן תַּעֲשֽׂוּ
¶ And they shall make an Arke of Shittim wood: two cubites and a halfe shalbe the length thereof, and a cubite and an halfe the breadth thereof, and a cubite & a halfe the height thereof.
GenevaThey shall make also an Arke of Shittim wood, two cubites and an halfe long, and a cubite and an halfe broade, and a cubite and an halfe hie.
וְ/עָשׂ֥וּ אֲר֖וֹן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֨יִם וָ/חֵ֜צִי אָרְכּ֗/וֹ וְ/אַמָּ֤ה וָ/חֵ֨צִי֙ רָחְבּ֔/וֹ וְ/אַמָּ֥ה וָ/חֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽ/וֹ
And thou shalt ouerlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou ouerlay it: and shalt make vpon it a crowne of gold round about.
GenevaAnd thou shalt ouerlay it with pure golde: within and without shalt thou ouerlay it, and shalt make vpon it a crowne of golde rounde about.
וְ/צִפִּיתָ֤ אֹת/וֹ֙ זָהָ֣ב טָה֔וֹר מִ/בַּ֥יִת וּ/מִ/ח֖וּץ תְּצַפֶּ֑/נּוּ וְ/עָשִׂ֧יתָ עָלָ֛י/ו זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב
And thou shalt cast foure rings of gold for it, and put them in the foure corners thereof, and two rings shal be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
GenevaAnd thou shalt cast foure rings of golde for it, and put them in the foure corners thereof: that is, two rings shalbe on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side thereof.
וְ/יָצַ֣קְתָּ לּ֗/וֹ אַרְבַּע֙ טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֔ב וְ/נָ֣תַתָּ֔ה עַ֖ל אַרְבַּ֣ע פַּעֲמֹתָ֑י/ו וּ/שְׁתֵּ֣י טַבָּעֹ֗ת עַל צַלְע/וֹ֙ הָֽ/אֶחָ֔ת וּ/שְׁתֵּי֙ טַבָּעֹ֔ת עַל צַלְע֖/וֹ הַ/שֵּׁנִֽית
And thou shalt make staues of Shittim wood, and ouerlay them with gold.
GenevaAnd thou shalt make barres of Shittim wood, and couer them with golde.
וְ/עָשִׂ֥יתָ בַדֵּ֖י עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים וְ/צִפִּיתָ֥ אֹתָ֖/ם זָהָֽב
And thou shalt put the staues into the rings, by the sides of the Arke, that the Arke may be borne with them.
GenevaThen thou shalt put the barres in the rings by the sides of the Arke, to beare the Arke with them.
וְ/הֵֽבֵאתָ֤ אֶת הַ/בַּדִּים֙ בַּ/טַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֖ל צַלְעֹ֣ת הָ/אָרֹ֑ן לָ/שֵׂ֥את אֶת הָ/אָרֹ֖ן בָּ/הֶֽם
The staues shall be in the rings of the Arke: they shal not be taken from it.
GenevaThe barres shalbe in the rings of the Arke: they shall not be taken away from it.
בְּ/טַבְּעֹת֙ הָ/אָרֹ֔ן יִהְי֖וּ הַ/בַּדִּ֑ים לֹ֥א יָסֻ֖רוּ מִמֶּֽ/נּוּ
And thou shalt put into the Arke the Testimonie which I shall giue thee.
GenevaSo thou shalt put in the Arke the Testimonie which I shall giue thee.
וְ/נָתַתָּ֖ אֶל הָ/אָרֹ֑ן אֵ֚ת הָ/עֵדֻ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶתֵּ֖ן אֵלֶֽי/ךָ
And thou shalt make a Mercieseat of pure gold: two cubites and a halfe shalbe the length thereof, and a cubite and a halfe the breadth thereof.
GenevaAlso thou shalt make a Mercie seate of pure golde, two cubites and an halfe long, and a cubite and an halfe broade.
וְ/עָשִׂ֥יתָ כַפֹּ֖רֶת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר אַמָּתַ֤יִם וָ/חֵ֨צִי֙ אָרְכָּ֔/הּ וְ/אַמָּ֥ה וָ/חֵ֖צִי רָחְבָּֽ/הּ
And thou shalt make two Cherubims of gold: of beaten worke shalt thou make them, in the two endes of the Mercie-seat.
GenevaAnd thou shalt make two Cherubims of golde: of worke beaten out with the hammer shalt thou make the at ye two endes of the Merciseate.
וְ/עָשִׂ֛יתָ שְׁנַ֥יִם כְּרֻבִ֖ים זָהָ֑ב מִקְשָׁה֙ תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֔/ם מִ/שְּׁנֵ֖י קְצ֥וֹת הַ/כַּפֹּֽרֶת
And make one Cherub on the one end, and the other Cherub on the other end: euen of the Mercie-seat shall yee make the Cherubims, on the two ends thereof.
GenevaAnd the one Cherub shalt thou make at the one ende, and the other Cherub at the other ende: of the matter of the Mercieseate shall ye make the Cherubims, on the two endes thereof.
וַ֠/עֲשֵׂה כְּר֨וּב אֶחָ֤ד מִ/קָּצָה֙ מִ/זֶּ֔ה וּ/כְרוּב אֶחָ֥ד מִ/קָּצָ֖ה מִ/זֶּ֑ה מִן הַ/כַּפֹּ֛רֶת תַּעֲשׂ֥וּ אֶת הַ/כְּרֻבִ֖ים עַל שְׁנֵ֥י קְצוֹתָֽי/ו
And the Cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, couering the Mercie-seat with their wings, and their faces shall looke one to another: toward the Mercie-seat shall the faces of the Cherubims be.
GenevaAnd the Cherubims shall stretche their winges on hie, couering the Mercie seate with their winges, and their faces one to another: to the Mercie seate warde shall the faces of the Cherubims be.
וְ/הָי֣וּ הַ/כְּרֻבִים֩ פֹּרְשֵׂ֨י כְנָפַ֜יִם לְ/מַ֗עְלָ/ה סֹכְכִ֤ים בְּ/כַנְפֵי/הֶם֙ עַל הַ/כַּפֹּ֔רֶת וּ/פְנֵי/הֶ֖ם אִ֣ישׁ אֶל אָחִ֑י/ו אֶל הַ/כַּפֹּ֔רֶת יִהְי֖וּ פְּנֵ֥י הַ/כְּרֻבִֽים
And thou shalt put the Mercie-seat aboue vpon the Arke, and in the Arke thou shalt put the Testimonie that I shall giue thee.
GenevaAnd thou shalt put the Mercieseate aboue vpon the Arke, and in the Arke thou shalt put the Testimonie, which I will giue thee,
וְ/נָתַתָּ֧ אֶת הַ/כַּפֹּ֛רֶת עַל הָ/אָרֹ֖ן מִ/לְ/מָ֑עְלָ/ה וְ/אֶל הָ֣/אָרֹ֔ן תִּתֵּן֙ אֶת הָ֣/עֵדֻ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶתֵּ֖ן אֵלֶֽי/ךָ
And there I wil meet with thee, and I will commune with thee, from aboue the Mercie-seat, from betweene the two Cherubims which are vpon the Arke of the Testimonie, of all things which I will giue thee in commaundement vnto the children of Israel.
GenevaAnd there I will declare my selfe vnto thee, and from aboue ye Mercieseate betweene ye two Cherubims, which are vpon ye Arke of ye Testimonie, I wil tel thee al things which I wil giue thee in comandement vnto ye children of Israel.
וְ/נוֹעַדְתִּ֣י לְ/ךָ֮ שָׁם֒ וְ/דִבַּרְתִּ֨י אִתְּ/ךָ֜ מֵ/עַ֣ל הַ/כַּפֹּ֗רֶת מִ/בֵּין֙ שְׁנֵ֣י הַ/כְּרֻבִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל אֲרֹ֣ן הָ/עֵדֻ֑ת אֵ֣ת כָּל אֲשֶׁ֧ר אֲצַוֶּ֛ה אוֹתְ/ךָ֖ אֶל בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל
¶ Thou shalt also make a table of Shittim wood: two cubites shall bee the length thereof, and a cubite the bredth thereof, and a cubite and a halfe the height thereof.
GenevaThou shalt also make a Table of Shittim wood, of two cubites long, and one cubite broade, and a cubite and an halfe hie:
וְ/עָשִׂ֥יתָ שֻׁלְחָ֖ן עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֑ים אַמָּתַ֤יִם אָרְכּ/וֹ֙ וְ/אַמָּ֣ה רָחְבּ֔/וֹ וְ/אַמָּ֥ה וָ/חֵ֖צִי קֹמָתֽ/וֹ
And thou shalt ouerlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crowne of gold round about.
GenevaAnd thou shalt couer it with pure gold, and make thereto a crowne of golde round about.
וְ/צִפִּיתָ֥ אֹת֖/וֹ זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר וְ/עָשִׂ֥יתָ לּ֛/וֹ זֵ֥ר זָהָ֖ב סָבִֽיב
And thou shalt make vnto it a border of an hand bredth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crowne to the border thereof round about.
GenevaThou shalt also make vnto it a border of foure fingers roud about and thou shalt make a golden crowne round about the border thereof.
וְ/עָשִׂ֨יתָ לּ֥/וֹ מִסְגֶּ֛רֶת טֹ֖פַח סָבִ֑יב וְ/עָשִׂ֧יתָ זֵר זָהָ֛ב לְ/מִסְגַּרְתּ֖/וֹ סָבִֽיב
And thou shalt make for it foure rings of gold, and put the rings in the foure corners that are on the foure feete thereof.
GenevaAfter, thou shalt make for it foure ringes of golde, and shalt put the rings in the foure corners that are in the foure feete thereof:
וְ/עָשִׂ֣יתָ לּ֔/וֹ אַרְבַּ֖ע טַבְּעֹ֣ת זָהָ֑ב וְ/נָתַתָּ֙ אֶת הַ/טַּבָּעֹ֔ת עַ֚ל אַרְבַּ֣ע הַ/פֵּאֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר לְ/אַרְבַּ֥ע רַגְלָֽי/ו
Ouer against the border shall the rings be for places of the staues to beare the table.
GenevaOuer against the border shall the rings be for places for barres, to beare the Table.
לְ/עֻמַּת֙ הַ/מִּסְגֶּ֔רֶת תִּהְיֶ֖יןָ הַ/טַּבָּעֹ֑ת לְ/בָתִּ֣ים לְ/בַדִּ֔ים לָ/שֵׂ֖את אֶת הַ/שֻּׁלְחָֽן
And thou shalt make the staues of Shittim wood, and ouerlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
GenevaAnd thou shalt make the barres of Shittim wood, and shalt ouerlay them with golde, that the Table may be borne with them.
וְ/עָשִׂ֤יתָ אֶת הַ/בַּדִּים֙ עֲצֵ֣י שִׁטִּ֔ים וְ/צִפִּיתָ֥ אֹתָ֖/ם זָהָ֑ב וְ/נִשָּׂא בָ֖/ם אֶת הַ/שֻּׁלְחָֽן
And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoones therof, and couers thereof, and bowles thereof, to couer withall: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
GenevaThou shalt make also dishes for it, and incense cuppes for it, and couerings for it, and goblets, wherewith it shall be couered, euen of fine golde shalt thou make them.
וְ/עָשִׂ֨יתָ קְּעָרֹתָ֜י/ו וְ/כַפֹּתָ֗י/ו וּ/קְשׂוֹתָי/ו֙ וּ/מְנַקִּיֹּתָ֔י/ו אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֻסַּ֖ךְ בָּ/הֵ֑ן זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה אֹתָֽ/ם
And thou shalt set vpon the Table Shew-bread before me alway.
GenevaAnd thou shalt set vpon the Table shewe bread before me continually.
וְ/נָתַתָּ֧ עַֽל הַ/שֻּׁלְחָ֛ן לֶ֥חֶם פָּנִ֖ים לְ/פָנַ֥/י תָּמִֽיד
¶ And thou shalt make a Candlesticke of pure gold: of beaten worke shall the candlesticke bee made; his shaft and his branches, his bowles, his knops, and his flowers shall be of the same.
GenevaAlso thou shalt make a Candlesticke of pure golde: of worke beaten out with the hammer shall the Candlesticke be made, his shaft, and his branches, his boules, his knops: and his floures shalbe of the same.
וְ/עָשִׂ֥יתָ מְנֹרַ֖ת זָהָ֣ב טָה֑וֹר מִקְשָׁ֞ה תֵּעָשֶׂ֤ה הַ/מְּנוֹרָה֙ יְרֵכָ֣/הּ וְ/קָנָ֔/הּ גְּבִיעֶ֛י/הָ כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥י/הָ וּ/פְרָחֶ֖י/הָ מִמֶּ֥/נָּה יִהְיֽוּ
And sixe branches shall come out of the sides of it: three branches of the candlesticke out of the one side, and three branches of the candlesticke out of the other side:
GenevaSix braunches also shall come out of the sides of it: three branches of the Candlesticke out of the one side of it, and three branches of the Candlesticke out of the other side of it.
וְ/שִׁשָּׁ֣ה קָנִ֔ים יֹצְאִ֖ים מִ/צִּדֶּ֑י/הָ שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֗ה מִ/צִּדָּ/הּ֙ הָ/אֶחָ֔ד וּ/שְׁלֹשָׁה֙ קְנֵ֣י מְנֹרָ֔ה מִ/צִּדָּ֖/הּ הַ/שֵּׁנִֽי
Three bowles made like vnto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch: and three bowles made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the sixe branches that come out of the candlesticke.
GenevaThree boules like vnto almondes, one knop and one floure in one braunch: and three boules like almondes in the other branch, one knop and one floure: so throughout the sixe branches that come out of the Candlesticke.
שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְ֠בִעִים מְֽשֻׁקָּדִ֞ים בַּ/קָּנֶ֣ה הָ/אֶחָד֮ כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָ/פֶרַח֒ וּ/שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה גְבִעִ֗ים מְשֻׁקָּדִ֛ים בַּ/קָּנֶ֥ה הָ/אֶחָ֖ד כַּפְתֹּ֣ר וָ/פָ֑רַח כֵּ֚ן לְ/שֵׁ֣שֶׁת הַ/קָּנִ֔ים הַ/יֹּצְאִ֖ים מִן הַ/מְּנֹרָֽה
And in the candlesticke shall bee foure bowles made like vnto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.
GenevaAnd in the shaft of the Candlesticke shalbe foure boules like vnto almondes, his knops and his floures.
וּ/בַ/מְּנֹרָ֖ה אַרְבָּעָ֣ה גְבִעִ֑ים מְשֻׁקָּדִ֔ים כַּפְתֹּרֶ֖י/הָ וּ/פְרָחֶֽי/הָ
And there shal be a knop vnder two branches of the same, and a knop vnder two branches of the same, and a knop vnder two branches of the same, according to the sixe branches that proceede out of the candlesticke.
GenevaAnd there shalbe a knop vnder two branches made thereof: and a knop vnder two branches made thereof: and a knop vnder two branches made thereof, according to the sixe branches comming out of the Candlesticke.
וְ/כַפְתֹּ֡ר תַּחַת֩ שְׁנֵ֨י הַ/קָּנִ֜ים מִמֶּ֗/נָּה וְ/כַפְתֹּר֙ תַּ֣חַת שְׁנֵ֤י הַ/קָּנִים֙ מִמֶּ֔/נָּה וְ/כַפְתֹּ֕ר תַּחַת שְׁנֵ֥י הַ/קָּנִ֖ים מִמֶּ֑/נָּה לְ/שֵׁ֨שֶׁת֙ הַ/קָּנִ֔ים הַ/יֹּצְאִ֖ים מִן הַ/מְּנֹרָֽה
Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall bee one beaten worke of pure gold.
GenevaTheir knops and their branches shall bee thereof. all this shalbe one beaten worke of pure golde.
כַּפְתֹּרֵי/הֶ֥ם וּ/קְנֹתָ֖/ם מִמֶּ֣/נָּה יִהְי֑וּ כֻּלָּ֛/הּ מִקְשָׁ֥ה אַחַ֖ת זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר
And thou shalt make the seuen lamps thereof: and they shall light the lampes thereof, that they may giue light ouer against it.
GenevaAnd thou shalt make the seuen lampes thereof: and the lampes thereof shalt thou put thereon, to giue light toward that that is before it.
וְ/עָשִׂ֥יתָ אֶת נֵרֹתֶ֖י/הָ שִׁבְעָ֑ה וְ/הֶֽעֱלָה֙ אֶת נֵ֣רֹתֶ֔י/הָ וְ/הֵאִ֖יר עַל עֵ֥בֶר פָּנֶֽי/הָ
And the tongs thereof, and the snuffe dishes therof shalbe of pure gold.
GenevaAlso the snuffers and snuffedishes thereof shalbe of pure golde.
וּ/מַלְקָחֶ֥י/הָ וּ/מַחְתֹּתֶ֖י/הָ זָהָ֥ב טָהֽוֹר
Of a talent of pure gold shall hee make it, with all these vessels.
GenevaOf a talent of fine gold shalt thou make it with all these instruments.
כִּכָּ֛ר זָהָ֥ב טָה֖וֹר יַעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑/הּ אֵ֥ת כָּל הַ/כֵּלִ֖ים הָ/אֵֽלֶּה
And looke that thou make them after their patterne, which was shewed thee in the mount.
GenevaLooke therefore that thou make them after their facion, that was shewed thee in the mountaine.
וּ/רְאֵ֖ה וַ/עֲשֵׂ֑ה בְּ/תַ֨בְנִיתָ֔/ם אֲשֶׁר אַתָּ֥ה מָרְאֶ֖ה בָּ/הָֽר
